Started in 2020, our Textures mix series promised to bring an alternation of deep and hypnotic selections to a UK capital that did not have much room for these slower BPMs. Two years later, after organising a few events and seeing other initiatives florishing in the city, we're reassured that there is a future for the deep sound in London.

After 100 episodes and after welcoming as many wonderful artists from around the world, our co-founder Labyrinthine closes the dance of this first chapter. We shall be back for more.

Medha spielte zum letzten quartal. Showcase ein unglaubliches closing im Sektor Evolution.
Nach diesem Set mussten wir unbedingt ihren Sound in unsere Podcast-Serie aufnehmen. Jetzt freuen wir uns, Medha neben anderen großartigen Künstlern auf unserer Plattform zu sehen.
Wir hoffen, dass euch dieses Set genauso viel Freude bereitet wie uns.

Hier noch ein paar Informationen zu ihrer Person


Medha ist eine in Leipzig lebende Dj und organisiert selbst Veranstaltungen als Mitglied des PVC 
Kollektivs. Zudem ist sie seit 2021 Co-host der bekannten Eventreihe Aequalis im Ifz. Ihre Leidenschaft für 
technoide Musik ist geprägt von ihrer ständigen Suche nach Inspiration und neuen Tracks, die sie mit 
einer Mischung aus Intuition und Überlegung in ihren Mixen zusammenführt. Geprägt von der Berliner und 
Leipziger Kultur- und Clubszene hat sie ihre eigene Art entwickelt, ihre Leidenschaft auszudrücken. Ihr 
Sound ist geprägt von prägnanten Basslines und raueren Elementen einerseits, aber auch von tiefen und 
treibenden Rhythmen und repetitiven Sounds. In letzter Zeit hat sie unter anderem in Clubs wie im Tresor 
Berlin, Ifz Leipzig oder Siroccoclub in Madrid gespielt.

Here's a little bit more about her.


Medha is a Leipzig based Dj and promoter as a member of the PVC collective. Since the end of 2021 
she is the co-host of the well-known event series aequalis at Ifz. Her passion for technoid music is 
shaped by her constant search for inspiration and new tracks, which she brings together in her mixes with 
a mixture of intuition and thought. Influenced by the Berlin and Leipzig culture and club scene, she has 
developed her own way of expressing her passion. Her sound is characterised by concise basslines and 
rougher elements on the one hand, but also by deep and driving rhythms and repetitive sounds. 
Recently, she has played in clubs such as Tresor Berlin, Ifz Leipzig or Sirococlub Madrid.

Kiki Blossom is a 90s kid, growing up at a time when vinyl was going out of style. As a teenager, she saw a 1210 DJ set up for the first time; her sister’s boyfriend was selling his gear. The fascination stuck. Fast forward ten years: she explores the electronic music scene in Glasgow as a dancer, but after a few years, longs for an experience without curfews and decides to move to Berlin in 2013. Just before leaving, she scores her own turntables. Slowly she builds a record collection and teaches herself how to mix. But soon it becomes clear she got the music bug bad, leaves the academic world of art history behind, and starts working part-time as a record cataloguer in 2020. One could say she’s a late bloomer; only after bedroom-DJing for 8 years, she played her first gig. Her love for 80/90s US House runs deep, and her mixes will always include tracks with powerful vocals singing about love and heartbreak.

"Crescent Textures" epsiode no.13 comes from our "Magnetic Fields" V/A participant - Kontinum! Enjoy his beautiful contribution to our  podcast series! 🌲 

Originally hailing from Lübeck, Kontinum is a co-founder of the project Nebula - after organising their first raves the collective quickly found its way into Leipzig's club scene and managed to establish its own event series at Institut fuer Zukunft.

In addition to managing most of Nebula's musical affairs, he continues to steadily enhance his own remarkable sound which can already be listened to on his recent releases on labels such as Circular Limited, Oslated or Lowless.
