Nadia is an Iranian-born, UAE-raised, then Montreal-based visual artist and DJ. She gravitates towards a diverse array of musical styles, as demonstrated by her decades worth of music collection. Within that selection, one can find anything, from rock to hip-hop to ambient to soul to house and techno. This, and her love for attending festivals and underground clubs across Europe and North America, inevitably led her to start seriously pursuing music four years ago. Montreal created the perfect landscape to push through her musical boundaries. In reference to the underlying electronic musical style, Nadia connects the most with hypnotic rhythms, jazz infused elements with deep bass lines and transportive cosmic sounds, regardless of the intersectionality found within her. This is considered to be the beginning of her musical endeavors. She aspires to hone her artistic practice alongside music, all the while continuing to have a deep admiration for record selection.

Lara Sarkissian is an Armenian-American sound artist, electronic composer, DJ and filmmaker born and based in San Francisco, CA. Sarkissian co-founded CLUB CHAI in the Bay Area with 8ULENTINA; a record label and curatorial project that artistically hybridized non western sonic and visual worlds among contemporary western culture. Lara Sarkissian's electronic music weaves experimental techniques from dance and ambient along with Armenian instrumentation and sampling. She produces scores for multi-channel and spatial installations and video. Her work has exhibited at Martin Gropius Bau Berlin, Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art and Gray Area Art and Technology Festival through ISM Hexadome. She contributes regular shows to NTS radio.

Deep House Tehran is an electronic music platform established in 2014 in Iran. They are working towards supporting and introducing local and international artists in the electronic music scene by promoting their work inside and outside of Iran, by broadcasting weekly podcasts, live performances, videos, news and etc, as well as organizing events and showcases all around the world. They are hoping for the future development of electronic music culture.

Borna Farshid, Growing up in an audiophile atmosphere Borna found himself attached to his father's selective collection of records and music which eventually led to his unique taste.Now borna is a tehran based underground DJ that has started his career with playing and residency in one of the region's best clubs, Analog Room, which has been playing a significant role in breathing life to the electronic music scene in the middle east. He's passionate to explore main dance-floors in the region and share his unique vision of the sound with the people.

Back in 1999, label boss Ewan Jansen took receipt of demo tapes by Kai Kroker (AKA Rawell) who subsequently appeared on Red Ember’s very first compilation record ‘Deepsounds One’.
These forgotten demos (lost even to Rawell himself) plus further works from 1995-2002, span a 2LP release of deeply emotive minimal house, techno & leftfield; an earnest synthesis of minimalism and romance from Berlin in the 90s. Included also is an ambient/downbeat 6-track digital EP (including the original version of ‘Tailwind’).

Move D’s gloriously moody and life-affirming ‘90s galore mix’ of ‘Tailwind’ is a very special reunion between close friends; the pair’s last collaboration dates back to 2005 under the ‘Faked.Info’ moniker and both recorded together along with Jamie Hodge under the collective ‘Studio Pankow’.
