Clearly, few words are needed to grasp that this collaboration promises a hot outcome. Since the release of 'Feeling” on Innervisions, Ivory has confirmed his skills through remixes for notable acts such as Fever Ray - Shiver, and he is one of the artists to watch out for, in the years to come. The same can be said for his Italian track feature, Filippo Nardini with his light and distinctive vocal performance. “Could you feel the love” combines the strengths of both artists to a track filled with goosebump-moments, a warm and catchy journey. Laolu & Raoul K’s excellent debut EP for Compost Records is the perfect amalgamation of state of the art housemusic, african rhythm- and soundtextures being topped by the deep and spiritual vocals of Ahmed Sosso.

It’s not the first fruitful collaboration of Geneva based Laolu and Raoul K who’s living in Lübeck – a contemplative small town in the north of Germany. With their collective effort on „Sene Kela“, released on Raoul’s label Baobab in 2014, the duo easily brigded the gap between their african roots and modern house, between deepness and rave appeal. A truly adorable piece of dance music that deeply touched and left a lasting impression on Compost Records head honcho Michael Reinboth, who licensed the song for his long standing „Future Sounds of Jazz“ compilation series immediately. With „Djougou Yah“, Laolu and Raoul K are picking up this vibe again but turning the wheel even further – delivering two marvelous versions of the song. Besides the musical and magnificently orchestrated and arranged Original there’s the Perc Mix. With its punchy Kick drum, stripped back percussion work, striking synth arpeggios and an epic breakdown it’s got this perfect peaktime and festival appeal to it. The lyrics and vocals are written and performed by the african singer and musician Ahmed Sosso whose unique voice already pleased our ears on Manoo & Raoul K’s Innervisions „Toukan EP“ from last year. Music with a message – music that went straight into our hearts!

Analog Sol combines vintage synths, 80’s nostalgia, and a love of sunset parties to keep the spirit of the underground alive. Born in Sydney and based in Barcelona, he has performed in over thirty countries, bringing his thrilling mix of Melodic Techno, Afro-House, and Caribbean vibes to a worldwide audience. Now, with the most compelling music of his accomplished career, he is out to redefine what a live electronic music performer is capable of.

Live performance has always been at the heart of Analog Sol. He first started performing in 2001, under the moniker Bass Kleph. After years of travel, he was drawn back to the underground and became enthralled with analog technology. 

He spent endless nights obsessing over sounds and nostalgia from the 80’s. That is when he decided to reinvent himself as Analog Sol. Since then, it has been a steady stream of late night parties and sunset vibes.
