Ever in search of an even-better environment to make music in, Joris Voorn has been hard at work this year constructing a new studio space near his home in Amsterdam. Having only very recently been completed, Joris immediately went to add the finishing touches on his next single in his new natural habitat. 'Genova' is the result, and its been well worth the wait.

A nagging techy beat with a funky undertone drives this infectious track, with monotone synth rhythms subtly rising from the depths to create tense pressure. Moments of teasing intensity increase the drama, before a beautiful arpeggiated melody unfolds and with it brings a sorrowful chord progression. The bass follows in tandem as we head towards a sparse breakdown which strips things down to the bare minimum. A lengthy snare build recalls classic trance as the synths pulse and swell, with a hooky vocal snippet announcing the drop. After some more of that juicy groove, an extended ambient outro provides an atmospheric, heavenly ending.

'Genova' has been heavily road-tested by Joris, featuring in all his sets over the summer and it has received huge reactions whenever played. It seems like his new studio has added a touch of magic to it, and we can all look forward to much more material coming out of it very soon indeed.

Oliver is well known for his great output on his very own imprint SOSO and gained much respect with his Nubreed album on Global Underground end of 2017. Born in Sydney and based in Barcelona, he has performed in over thirty countries, bringing his thrilling mix of Melodic Techno, Afro-House, and Caribbean vibes to a worldwide audience. Now, with the most compelling music of his accomplished career, he is out to redefine what a live electronic music performer is capable of.

His hit record Trinidad Dreams is played by everyone from Black Coffee and Solomun, to Axwell and Armin van Buuren. It has over 1.5 million streams on Spotify and was signed to Armada. Analog Sol takes an exceptionally unique approach to his craft, resulting in a mesmerizing and highly original sound. He composes and performs entirely with analog synths and hardware samplers. Eschewing computers in favor of a more tactile organic style.

Live performance has always been at the heart of Analog Sol. He first started performing in 2001, under the moniker Bass Kleph. That project saw him top the Beatport chart multiple times, and perform at the most renowned clubs and venues worldwide. After years of travel, he was drawn back to the underground and became enthralled with analog technology. 

He spent endless nights obsessing over sounds and nostalgia from the 80’s. That is when he decided to reinvent himself as Analog Sol. Since then, it has been a steady stream of late night parties and sunset vibes.
