The Axel E Rator 20 Year Anniversary album on Lower East Side Records Amsterdam.
Axel starts his carreer in 1987 composing music on a large modular synth and meets Jeroen Flamman in the Amsterdam underground club Planet E. Produced by Jeroen in 1990 the first Subtopia Record by Axel comes out. Axel tours the world performing live house music on stage in clubs and raves. He likes his music rough, loves to kick, shout but not hurt. This album is made with respect to the old school.

While on holiday at the beginning of last year, it dawned on me that although I’ve been playing in LA since the early ‘90’s, I’d never done an open to close set here. And over the years I’ve watched as my good friend Kobi Danann has transformed Sound Nightclub into THE definitive clubbing experience in the city; carefully studying the variety of DJs who come thru its doors and meticulously tweaking every aspect of the venue. So naturally at the end of that epic all nighter we decided to make it a yearly tradition.
