AN Series 005: Alberto Tolo

Making a name for himself as one of Narrm's kings of groove, Connor Wall is a DJ/Producer that is a must see on any lineup that graces his name. He has releases on Naarm's own @connection-verified and @bomphcast as well as Glasgow's @oscillatorone, most recent of which being a slamming EP featuring remixes from Decoder and ADMINISTRATOR. For this mix Connor has dipped into his old school techno collection and riddled the one hour recording with iconic techno classics and some little known gems.

SYLK ist Dj und Produzent aus München. Zusammen mit seinem Kollektiv organisiert er set 2019 die “Krach in der Kombüse” Techno Partys.
Er produziert und spielt Techno, den man wohl am besten als eine Mischung aus hypnotischen Rhythmen und industrieller Atmosphäre beschreiben würde. Inspiriert von dystopischem Science Fiction, urbanem Setting und warmen Groove, ist sein Sound darauf ausgerichtet, ekstasische Bewegung und tiefe Emotionen auf dunklen und in sich verschmelzenden Tanzflächen zu erzeugen.

Nach seinem ersten Release 2021 arbeitet er gerade mit Hochdruck an seiner zweiten EP und vielen weiteren Projekten.

Yax is a DJ from Adelaide, Australia with a passion for underground techno, drawing influence from the likes of DVS1, Jeff Mills, and Setaoc Mass. His style is often deep, hypnotic, and hard hitting as he takes inspiration from the 90s and early 00s era of techno.
Yax also curates his own weekly podcast series called Yax Invites via his SoundCloud page with the aim of creating a library of quality mixes and showcasing talent from around the world.

For this mix he has focused on hypnotic and mind-bending techno to take the listener through a two-hour trip best experienced on a quality sound system.

With more than 12 years of going out to listen and learn about the culture of techno, having on top of an endless number of international avant-garde artists such as: jeff Mills, Oscar Mulero, Robert Hood, Stanislav Tolkachev, Mark Broom, James Ruskin, Jeroen Search, Christian Wunsch, Reeko, Psyk, Function, Zadig, among many others. In mid-2018 with his first controller he totally got into the world of DJing.He discovers his new passion, giving his top priority to generate his own style by DJing. Subgenres such as minimal techno, Detroit, and old-school music. Nowadays adding Sci-Fi and music with a lot of groove to be able to generate more track environments and hypnotic moments apart from intense atmospheres. . He defines himself as a very versatile and constantly changing dj within Techno, he does not like to go down a single path, but it is more than mixing his emotions and is an endless number of music.
