A Week In 2019 isn’t just about my life. It’s about my life and the people that’s close to me. I needed this project to be about what and who is important in my life. I wanted it to be in-house and use only my friends and I to come up with an idea that could explain the journey I was on. I wanted us to come together and create something that could give people an understanding of our conversations, stresses, relationship battles, jobs, and most importantly our lives. I remember when I wrote my first rap in Foot Locker as a joke, I spit it to some coworkers to see what they thought. It wasnt good I’m sure but they told me if I kept working at it I had potential. Ever since then I never stopped working at it and kept creating songs trying to figure out my sound and studying all sorts of rappers to gain some sort of insight to the game. It’s way more technical than people realize and it took me years of practice for me to feel like I was confident in my writing ability. With this being my first project I put out it is important to me and I know that it’s still not perfect. I did my best with these songs and still have so much more growth ahead of me. Thank you all for your support and every ear that soaks in each song.
