For their 54th release Analyticaltrail records serve up two new originals by techno man Flug
complete with a remix from label boss Markantonio. For over a decade now, Flug has positioned himself as one of the leaders of the Argentine and Barcelona techno scenes, delivering on labels such as Stockholm Ltd, Sleaze, Octopus, SINO and Enemy. His fans include the likes of Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer and many more, and when you hear this new single its easy to see why.

‘Drummer’ is a steely bit of white-knuckle techno with relentless kick drums forming the basis as frosty, blizzard like textures blow across the face of the track. An ever growing sense of crescendo is buried deep within as hi hats grow more restless and the thing just never lets up. 
It’s heads down, fist pumping stuff designed for twisted warehouse parties.

Markantonio injects some more rounded, rubbery tones into his remix but still it’s a barrelling, racing wedge of full-blooded techno. Icy hi hats seem to hang in the air and deep buried synth sounds suggest there is life in this alien world, somewhere.

Flug’s other original is ‘Hexadecimal’, another stomping bit of streamlined techno design to make you dance. The percussion rattles in a micro-groovy way and the textures are all buffed up and metallic, just the way real techno DJs like it.

This is an uncompromising package from the ever on-point Analytictrail that confirms Flug to be in a class of one.

ANT056 - Alpha -Kalden Bess Long running Italian techno label Analytictrail serves up a new EP from one of their regular artists in the form of Kalden Bess. His four originals come backed with a remix from the ever-busy Luigi Madonna. Bess has been crafting electronic music since 2008 in his native Montreal. In the years since he has gained props from the likes of Gary Beck, Pig & Dan and Jerome Sydenham and his dirty, sexy techno has come on labels like Drumcell and his own Ground Factory Records. Attention grabbing opening track Alpha is a prime techno cut with heavy, thumping kicks, walls of percussion and a booming voice beaming down like a dark force from outer space. For his part, Luigi Madonna of labels like Drumcode and Plus 8 strips things back to a more spaced-out and rolling techno groove with sheet metal synths spiralling around the pumping drums. The perfectly produced Unstoppable is just that a monolithic stomper with closely stacked drums, paranoid synth lines and a crescendo of hi hats & vocal FX that trap you right at the centre of the whole monstrous affair. You can really see this one commanding dancefloors in large clubs or bleak warehouses alike, with crowds unable to do anything but stomp in its presence. Invisible is a more syncopated techno kicker that seems to rock on its heels. Razor sharp hi hat ringlets churn in large cycles and again distant, muffled voices suggest you arent alone in the midst of this domineering rhythm. Last but by no means least, No Kings is a percolating, ever simmering affair with industrial textures and apocalyptic synths all working together in controlled chaos. If big room techno is your thing, you are unlikely to find tracks as inescapably groovy and arresting as these anywhere else this year.

The assembly line of the most important Techno Factory in Italy is always loading colossal products on the market. Analytic Trail is the right example of what can be defined the “Finest Techno Music dealer”, as always there are no doubts on the flawless work of label Boss Markantonio that puts in game only superlative stuff. It’s time of Lex Gorrie, a British producer well known as label owner of “Sleaze Records” founded with his brother Stephen (Hans Bouffmyhre), Lex is proud to bring us to discover a cool EP called “Bad Apple” that includes three original tracks and one remix of Loco & Jam. This special Duo doesn’t need to be introduced, Loco & Jam are already well known on Italian ground for their last EP “Titus” on the same Analytic Trail, release number 044.

“Bad Apple” is the first track and namesake of the EP, made by a dark bassline with a powerful and heavy kick. Synth shot is the main element of the track supported by a strong hi hats session, the break phase is a spacey Techno journey when the listener can catch and enjoy the beat.

It’s time of remix with new Loco & Jam’s of “Bad Apple”, the underground touch is still alive in this version, noisy effects under the energetic bassline mixed with a Detroit Techno Synth. This is exactly what you can feel in this remix, an explosion of fat techno kick and strong drum elements.

“Doom” is the third one, is an impressive deep and dark experience, where a weighty kick is pushing on everything till the rise of the synth. Hi hats and rides sessions are always the engine of the track powered by a gorgeous bassline making of this tune a special dark Techno bomb.

It’s “Conspiracy” the closing track of this project, that resume the essence of this powerful Techno release, a dark rhythm moves on with a funk bassline, drum session it’s super aggressive and everything is surrounded by a Techno pumping Synth, just listen and dance.

Top quality music as always, Analytic Trail take us over the imagination, choosing the right producers release by release, no excuse only Techno master and young rising stars.
