LENSKE’s first release by Farrago, “Risin”, comes packing high velocity punches, including a collaboration with Amelie Lens and a remix from Kobosil. The EP’s A side is packed near 12 minutes of crisp machine driven techno with Farrago’s rattling peak-time “The Riddler” being the first to puncture. The title track, “Risin”, will only be released as the Kobosil remix, a titanium tour of auditory horrors, which also borrows from the EP’s other tracks. Lens’ signature sultry vocal samples on the B side’s “Jealousy” draw the contours of a jaw grinding banger, while “Hidden Power” rounds out the release with a blaring dance floor siren encased in exquisitely unpredictable arrangement. Markantonio’s label AnalyticTrail drops a hard-hitting three track techno EP from young Italian producer Hanubis whose style blends thundering percussion with timeless synth sounds.

Prior to this EP, Hanubis had released tracks on labels including Spartaque’s IAMT, Sam Paganini’s JAM and Coyu’s Suara, leading to support from DJ’s such as Charlotte De Witte, Enrico Sangiuliano, Cari Lekebusch, Wehbba, Spektre and Skober.

Hanubis is also a resident DJ at LebenSound UM in the Italian city of Foggia where he regularly plays alongside DJ royalty from around the globe.

“Dish” opens the release with an industrial kick drum fused with stabbing pads and explosive vocal phrases. Track two “Armageddon” blends the twisted euphoria of hypnotic synths with heavy percussion, before the dark and punishing “The Modeline” closes out this peak time techno EP.
