Maxinne is back on her home label Toolroom and it's quite the return as she teams up with vocalist Mizbee with 'Want You To Know'.

Maxinne is known for her big club tracks with infectious diva vocals, her recent project 'Something In Our Life' with Niki Darling went on to be huge. She knows how to work a dance floor with her productions and takes inspiration from her gigs and traveling. She's had recent support from the likes of Hot Since 82, Green Velvet, Darius Syrossian and Mark Knight and since her Toolroom label singing in April 2019, Maxinne has gone from strength to strength in the studio, producing some of her finest work to date.

Mizbee is the perfect studio partner here, her vocals are infectious and compliment Maxinne's sound. Her recent single 'Joy' which included remixes from Mark Jenkyns and Roni Size had support from Dance music heavy weights from The Black Madonna to Steve Lawler to Marco Carola.

Maxinne cements her place in the Toolroom Family and delivers her strongest release to date!

The latest edition of our free download series welcomes @im-sander. The French producer created a reinterpretation to @elfenberg's "Bazaar".

trndmsk: What inspired you to make the reinterpretation? How did you approach the original track? Where and how did you produce it Where did you record it? And how?

Sander: I discovered Elfenberg with the track "Bazaar". I immediately loved It and felt inspired to reinterprete it with my own style. From this moment, I reached them and @metanoiarhythm (the label who released this pearl), to know if they were interested about my proposition and they did. 

The first time I listened to it at home, I knew i wanted to keep the vocals, a little flute plus some few background elements. Then, i built the beats as i love to do with rich offbeat elements to bring seducing groove. The main idea was to make the track more punchy without increasing too much the bpm, so the beat was essential to fulfill this goal. I also worked on creating an hypnotic arpeggiator and a discrete pad to surround everything together.

Why do you want to provide it as a free download?

This is not an official release, as i asked to reinterprete it for the simple but huge pleasure to write music. So i decided that this pleasure could be shared as a gift for everyone who like the song.

What’s up next after the release? Are you working on any other projects?

There is a lot of beautiful things coming up: Three EPs will be released on Metanoia, Crossings and Souq Records for the next six months. Beside, I’m working with Stephane Salerno since two years and we are now crafting a live act together to perform as a duo with several instruments on stage. He's my best partner in music, we have a unique symbiosis when producing or jamming together, finding a subtle way to include our movie soundtrack influences through electronic ones. It creates some unforgettable emotional moments to listen and play live together in the studio. In one month we will launch our duo live act for the first time in London for a Horde x Crossings showcase, then for a festival called Karnasouk in Paris, and several other countries for the next months. We are looking forward to reveal this project to the world.

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes.
