Arranged one of my favorite songs - Mister Rogers' "It's You I Like" for sax quartet. Been meaning to do this for a while! Great to finally hear it. Ideally, real people with real saxophones would record this - is this you? Happy to share the written parts. :)

It's You I Like (Saxophone Quartet)

Transcribed and modified the intro and first verse of a bhangra song I like a lot, Gidheh Vich Nach by Gurbhej Brar (2012). The pic is a much younger me playing with my sister and sister-in-law (then sister-out-law) at my other sister's wedding. Seemed fitting. Oh, in the arrangement, I have "trumpet" sound subbing in for lead and backing vocals. All parts are: lead vocal, backing vocals, harmonium, tumbi, dhol, piano keyboard (chords), electric bass, and drumset. I think this is the most parts I've done together so far. Brrruah!

fun 7/8 groove in F minor. orchestrated with rhodes organ, timbales, drumset, 2 trumpet parts, 2 trombone parts, and tenor sax. includes 12-bar rhodes solo followed by 12 bars for listener to practice improvisation. written with musescore 2; audio file is export from musescore with a little reverb added in audacity.  play along! have fun. :)
