XYBERWARE is a three-level record label dedicated to pushing the boundaries of Grime music. With each level representing a different facet of the genre, XYBERWARE aims to showcase the diversity and creativity within Grime, from its dark and intense foundations to its high-energy rhythms and innovative experimentation. Through its visionary approach, XYBERWARE strives to represent the Grime music landscape and cultivate a community of artists who embody its pioneering spirit.

Level 1 takes us deep into the darker realms of Grime, blending Hip-Hop elements with heavy basslines and intricate rhythms. These tracks, produced at 140 bpm, create a profound and driving groove for the listener, drawing inspiration from Hip-Hop and UK garage. This inaugural release sets the stage for the exciting levels to come.

"The debut FKOF free from Marietta's Drew's Theory really does live up to its title. 'Organic' is a slow and sumptuous journey across the soundscapes in Drew's Theory's mind, one that opens with a repeating guitar loop that's slowly added to. Percussion adds the pace before the drop hits and the guitar fades out and the sub rises. It's a clear combination of the Drew's Theory influences, with hints of reggae fluidly mixing with hip-hop and trip-hop vibes. 

"There's a slight switch up during the break, with more elements added and growls coming in as the second drop rolls through. With the guitar hook returning to ripple across the sound field, the only thing that seems to be missing from 'Organic' is a vocal. It's a worthy addition to our collection of FKOF frees and we hope to have more material from Drew's Theory in the future!"

About Mother Mary
Mother Mary (she/they) is Alex Naylor, a second-generation settler living on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples (currently known as Vancouver, BC).
She brings together elements of UK bass, breaks, emotionally-charged techno, and dark 2-step, always with one eye on the dance floor.
When not in the rave, you can find her planning immersive audiovisual dance experiences with the Radiate crew. In the daytime hours she works in mental health and addictions as a clinician.
