A lot is happening in my life at this moment. Sometimes for me music is a way to escape all the stuff, that makes life complicated. I started working on this new ep and had a lot of emotions and thoughts, which were in need of some form of expression. I really hope you like my compositions, because I put a lot of love, time and work into these. From writing to playing the tracks in a recording environment - I did everything on my own! :)

"I don’t think clearly when I compose – I find myself in a tranquil state of mind that moves me and simply makes me feel. The output is an outpour of emotions that are almost foreign to me. They’re hidden somewhere deep inside, as if something that’s muted has been set free. Simply stated, this music is the song of the soul.

My compositions have been described as evocative and stirring. Although simple in nature, the music is deeply emotional and I have been lucky enough to experience several listeners in tears. The style is mellow and poignant, borrowing elements from classical composers such as Debussy. The mood is slightly calmer, a cross between Chicane and Chopin, as I like to say."

After pursuing the study of classical music for most of her childhood and adolescent years, Anastasia released her debut - Reminiscent – in partnership with Secret Formula Records. This solo piano album is a delicate balance between Classical and New Age. Her second album, a similar classical crossover, is in the works to be released in mid-2018.
