Continuing the series with a laid-back mix, diving into the dub and deep of house.

The mood I wanted to tap into is a chill, cosy evening at home, sharing moments with loved ones, or simply enjoying it by yourself, just press play and let this mix be the soundtrack of your evening. Starting slow and gradually building up in energy as the night unfolds.

Drew inspiration from the upcoming album of Monty Luke - Nightdubbing - to be fully released on the 29th of March. The mix starts with a song from the album bearing the very same title.

Originally from Romania, yet reborn on Berlin’s queer dance floors, Anaté blends her classical piano upbringing with a strong passion for dancing to bring rhythm and emotion into her sets. Shaped by 90s-00s influences, Anaté’s sound combines driving, percussive grooves, and dub-tinged elements for a deep, sultry dance-floor experience. Having shifted from songwriting and singing to DJing, she now weaves her voice more and more often into her mixes for an even deeper connection with the crowd.

We’re opening our new mixtape series Umwege — a dedication to the detours, connections, and encounters that shaped a year spent traveling through Germany’s dance music landscape.

For the second edition, we’re joined by Anaté, an artist originally from Romania whose musical roots run deep. Classically trained in piano, with a background in singing and songwriting, she carries music from its most intimate form to the vastness of the dancefloor. Drawn by the passion for movement and the formative journey of Berlin’s scene, she found her path into electronic music, where she now moves fluidly between house and techno — with house at the core. Her sets are rooted in groove, weaving percussive elements into emotional and deep layers, designed to move both body and mind.

Wanted to create a journey from house to techno, staying true to the sounds that I like. Was a pleasure seeing the room fill up and the crowd slowly enter our world, thank you to the dancers and to Motion Unit for the trust.

Closing the show is XHOUSTED, DJ and producer based in Berlin, known for his deep, hypnotic, and fast-paced techno, blending unknown sounds into immersive sets: a reflection of his dedication to the underground and the limitless potential of techno. Rooted in the free party scene, works actively as sound and lights technician across Berlin’s club scene
