i started working on this song over a year ago when my super talented friend sense.raw sent me a little poem and it really resonated with me.

“i wrote these verses at night in my bed, i was overthinking as always and couldn't fall asleep. world was scary for me then and i felt very insecure about everything. i was thinking about fiery skies, strong people, brave souls... in comparison to them, i was nothing. everyone around me was miles ahead, i couldn't catch up no matter how hard i tried. these words are about my sister. she's the one i look up to and i've felt like i am never enough for her (and for everyone else) since forever. the reason i wrote it was because i wanted to ease the pain. but now, i believe you will find yourself in this song, and i hope it will ease your pain too.”
