*the story opens on earth with someone uploading there mind to the lazer point cloud ( technology that uploads your mind into a immortal light beam that can travel through space as avatar that you can costumize )
*its been 2000 years since the 2nd technological revolution in 2032 and a new technology has been created that lets us be pioneers of a new frontier of cyber space the brain uploading process is short and painless the tour starts on earth and ends on Saturn but takes a de tour to the closes galaxy after the moon and mars.
 it was cool being on the moon but the next stop was mars and I wasn't missing the chance to travel to another planet for the first time without danger of a rocket blowing up in the atmosphere which happens more than you think.
as i prepare for the light jump i come to a conclusion how cool will it be to only listen to  2000s era music since its been that much amount of time since humans first landed on mars and had a technological revolution.
zoom.... i enter mars computer lobby and wait with a catchy tune in my ear i think Jason durolo was his name anyway the journey starts on mars which at this time is more populated then earth do to the opportunity of adventure and riches.
I meet a friend while im there she has been on mars her whole life and entered the sim when her husband died a natural death. I tell her about my task to only listen to 2000s era music and she thinks its interesting we then  takes up some time and dance to classics from a past decade before i jump off into another galaxy... the challenge was simple since i just had to think of something and it was conjured up like no ones business.
I enter the space port and fly through space at the speed of light on an journey with endless possibility onward to alpha centari 

*they arrive at the center of a new galaxy.
