So this is my opinion on German, I don't know why but there was this meme where apparently German sounds scary and harsh. Well, to a native speaker of the Dutch language (Flemish, since I'm Belgian) it does not sound that harsh. Especially not compared to the Dutch of my neighbours, the Dutch. Just have a listen!
