TRAPPED! (The Small Room Mixes)

Constructions For Flute & Electronics is an exploration of the sonic possibilities of the Flute by Sydney based Flute player and Electroacoustic musician Andrew Bishop aka Anbis.

Through a variety of live improvisations, semi scored works and manipulated samples of Andrew's playing, a world of different textures are created ranging from almost spiritual serenity through to the outpourings of a large scale flute ensemble.

The works are all original and have been produced and released through anbismusic on itunes.

This tracks uses a couple of samples(that i manipulated) by Richard Devine as well as some sounds from his Graincube along with some Logic software instruments.

Hey! I'm a Sydney based electroacoustic musician.

I have a B.Mus from the Queensland Conservatorium and also one in improvisation from the Victorian College of the Arts. I have also obtained a Post Grad Dip from the Royal College of Music, London.
