I like to look back at past projects to see if there are ways to improve my production or style. Sometimes with very little effort, a gem can be found or rediscovered. This is a mix of a song where I used my voice as a sample. But this time, I muted my sample and added a stronger snare. I must admit, even I am shocked with how crisp it sounds now compared to the vocal mix. In any case, the point is this; dont be afraid to look at ones self critically. Dont be afraid to get out of your OWN way. There is always room for improvement. Always.
