The Undertaker’s Tapes moniker from Prague based french 
born  artist  Léo  Hivert  has  built  his  sound  through  years  of  
musical practice. 
From  punk  bands  from  his  early  age,  remains  the  raw  and  
relentless energy of his EBM productions while he develops 
the  cathartic  aspect  through  noise,  power  electronics  and  
down tempo industrial. 
Fascinated by Poe and Blake, The Undertaker’s Tapes finds 
his voice in subjects such as death, longing, existentialist and 
belief questioning through the prism of his own experience 
and sensitivity. 
Collaborating  closely  with  visual  artist  Chloé  Burkiewicz,  
his  artistic  approach  also  involve  in  a  more  contemporary  
way references such as Hermann Nitsch or John John. This 
strong  attraction  for  A/V  arts,  performances  and  extreme  
representations  both  ideological  and  emotional  follows  in  
the wake of these affinities with a more institutional Art but 
not less experimental.

Premiere: Sumérgete en las ondas sonoras del último lanzamiento de SMFORMA, "It's a Weird Place". Este EP en vinilo de 4 pistas, lanzado por Soil Records, es un viaje cautivador a través del sonido, que combina el enérgico tecnoide-EBM con voces sensuales y hechizantes.
Inspirándose en el sonido EBM de la vieja escuela de finales de los 90 y principios de los 2000, SMFORMA da nueva vida a un género clásico. "It's a Weird Place" examina la naturaleza cambiante del agua, donde la solidez se funde en liquidez, la quietud se convierte en movimiento y la forma se disuelve en lo informe.
Este EP profundiza en temas de libertad, desafío y comprensión de las diferencias. Se trata de aceptar el cambio, experimentar emociones, reconocer la dualidad y el deseo de conectarse, avanzar y crecer.
