He is a well-respected figure in the vibrant southern part of the country, known for its lively dance music festivals and raves. R Jay, as he is also known, has a strong passion for DJing that goes beyond the limits of time.

Ancient Soul is recognized for his ability to create mesmerizing electronic music experiences. His performances forge a strong connection with the local dance music community, earning him admiration and respect in Sri Lanka's underground music scene.

In his impressive 13-year journey, Ancient Soul has built a dedicated following, boasting 16,000 fans on Facebook and drawing thousands more on Instagram, Soundcloud, and Mixcloud. His musical career began in 2009 when he acquired a full analogue DENON setup, launching his professional journey into underground music at the age of 17 in 2011.
