"VERS/US" is an unfinished demo from "The Uncanny Valley" writing sessions. As the album writing came to a close, Perturbator realized this song didn't quite fit in with the themes of the main album. The song was left in a more 'rough-stage' and was included in the bonus EP to give a sense of what Perturbator's writing process is like.

The metropolis of San Miedo has seen incredible amounts of violence by the year of 2097. The local law enforcement struggles regulating the scum that’s been terrorizing the people of the city. One of the most villainous groups of outlaws is a gang of bikers, notorious for their cruel showdowns on rival gangs. They ride MHRW-86 V8 powercycles at night, preying solo on unsuspecting victims, or assembling in large groups to take on any rival that did wrong to one of their gang members. No one exactly know who these people are, but the raw sound of their roaring engines deep in the night strikes fear in everyone’s hearts. Sometimes it’s just one echoing shot of a D-83 plasma booster outside your window, then a loud revving sound, followed by silence. 

When their headlights pierce the green fog embracing the streets at night, seeking revenge on a fallen brother, there is nowhere to hide, and no way to stop them.
