There’s something raw and restless about the groove on Da Lukas & Di Martino's Butter Track, a cut that moves like it was built in the after-hours but destined for the prime-time floors. Italian producer Da Lukas reconstructs the sound of analog Disco sound, piece by piece, pressing the weight of history and fusing it with everything essential for future dance floors.

This is my new edit of the Re-Disco series, I think it doesn't need any further introduction. It's a song from 1980 by a Punk Rock band, it's a track with Hip Hop, Disco and Funk connotations, influences given by the meeting with Nile Rodgers and Chic during their short stay at the Power Station, but with my contribution it became even more disco, a RE-DISCO indeed. American Hip Hop artist. Originally from Dallas, Texas, the D.O.C. began his career during the late 1980s as a member of Fila Fresh Crew. He released his first album as a solo artist after gaining the attention of the California-based producer Dr. Dre. In November of 1989, he suffered near-fatal injuries in an automobile accident that severed his vocal cords, which resulted in the loss of his voice. As a result, he began to collaborate with other artists as a songwriter and in other capacities. By 1995, he had regained some of his voice through speech therapy to restart his solo career, which culminated in the release of his second album.
