✔️ What are your musical influences?

AndArc - 
My musical influences span from bouncy dark techno and down/midtempo indie dance to the energy of high-energy tracks with a touch of darkness and joy. Music has always been a passion in my life—from listening to rap and hip-hop as a child to exploring psytrance and mainfloor techno in my 20s. Over the past five years, underground music has truly taken over my heart and shaped my journey to what I am today. Also this has been a kickstart for my own music production

LowLow - 
I’ve been influenced by hip-hop and rap since childhood, and while my style has expanded, those roots are always present in my sets. My love for music began with my dad’s extensive CD collection, which I’d explore as a kid—this passion for collecting has stayed with me, even though it's mostly digital now. Later, I discovered Kater Blau and fell in love with its slow, bass-heavy sounds. It felt like coming home, as if I’d found a style I’d been searching for my whole life. It was love at first sound!

✔️ What makes a good “afterhour”?

AndArc -
A good afterhour is about creating a special atmosphere where the music takes people on a journey. It combines dark, rhythmic energy with moments that bring a sense of freedom and release. Time seems to disappear as everyone connects through the sound. The best afterhours mix reflection with celebration, creating a space that feels powerful, freeing, and memorable.
LowLow - 
A good afterhour contains relaxed and grounded vibes, playful music that tickles the senses, invokes both curiosity and a sense of just melting into the moment, full presence with the sound

✔️Do you have any thoughts you would like to share about your set?

 AndArc & LowLow - 
What started as a spontaneous idea to do a first-time b2b (and our first time meeting!) And our set was not prepared and we didn’t know what to expect - turned out to be even better than we could have imagined! We discovered a shared passion for similar styles, and combining our collections felt like a perfect match. It was as if we had played together many times before, and I’m already excited for the next round! The cozy lounge floor was the perfect setting for this relaxed, playful b2b—full of laid-back vibes and great energy <3

This is one of the faster set i have played. Playtime was 01-04. I played at a private party that we call Waterhole on a secret destination. The Dancefloor was full the whole night with alot of people on the dance floor.
I had a really great time. I took some new tracks with me and also played Kaufmann in this set. Its normally way to fast for me, but i loved it.
The set was between 122-125 BPM of pure Indie Dance and Techno.
This DJ set was LIVE recorded.

💭 Grounding gleicht einer Superkraft, erstaunlich was die Verbindung zur Erde alles schafft. Es stärkt Wohlbefinden und Selbstvertrauen, so dermaßen einfach, ich kann es selbst kaum glauben. Doch es ist wirklich wahr, mit den Füßen in der Erde entfalte ich mein volles Potenzial.

🎵 Heute ist DJ AndArc aus dem Süden Schwedens mit einem Podcast auf KataHaifisch zu Gast. Sein Sound jongliert in der Spähre von Bounce, Indie Dance, Deep und Tech House und verbindet drückende Basslines mit hypnotischen Rhythmen und einer konstanten Energieübertragung. 🌌  If you were a superhero, what special power would you most like to have?
I’d love to have the power to freeze time for everyone except myself. Just imagine the possibilities! You could stretch out those magic moments on the dancefloor, or hit pause for some quiet in the chaos. Also times fly and some of the moments you want to capture just flies by you.

🦌 What’s your favorite procrastination activity?
Listening to weird, obscure field recordings on YouTube – everything from thunderstorms in the rainforest to the sound of a train station in Tokyo at 4am. Make me calm and if you close your eyes you can almost imagine been in that place also :)

🧊 Did you have any significant realizations in 2024/25 that you’d like to share?
I’ve realized that letting go of control and leaning into spontaneity – both in music and in life – often leads to the most memorable moments. The best sets I’ve played this year have been the ones where I threw away the plan and just went with the energy in the room.
