5. Alestein Ulrune (Male Half-Elf Bard by Andawan)

Alestein Ulrune was born to an elven mother and a human father in a small village in the heart of the High Forest. From a young age, Alestein was fascinated by music and song, and would spend hours singing and playing his lute in the woods. His mother, a skilled bard herself, recognized her son's talents and encouraged him to pursue his passion.

As Alestein grew older, he became more confident in his musical abilities and began performing in local taverns and inns. It was during one of these performances that he first met Ariann the Triton ranger, who had come to the village in search of a skilled bard to accompany her on her adventures.

Impressed by Alestein's skill and charisma, Ariann offered him a place in her band of adventurers. Alestein eagerly accepted, thrilled at the prospect of seeing the world and using his music to aid his new companions.

Over the next few years, Alestein traveled far and wide with Ariann and her companions, honing his musical talents and using them to bolster his allies in battle. He became particularly close with Riven the Groundbreaker, and the two quickly became fast friends.

Alestein's bardic magic proved invaluable to the group, and his songs and spells helped them triumph over countless foes. He also developed a close bond with “Lucksy” Obsidian, who appreciated his music and often asked him to accompany her on her own adventures.

As Alestein continued to travel and perform with his friends, he began to develop a sense of purpose beyond mere entertainment. He saw the power of music to inspire and uplift, and began using his bardic magic to heal wounds and lift spirits, becoming a true force for good in the world.

Now, years later, Alestein has become a renowned bard, known and beloved throughout the land for his powerful voice and inspiring performances. He still travels with Ariann and his other friends, but has also taken on apprentices of his own, passing on his love of music and magic to a new generation.

This track is a part of the upcoming Legacy of Thought Label compilation release "Dead Painters Society Collection" with several of the artists collaborating withing the label LoT . It will be released on 09-03-2017.

The painting:
"Blind Man in Belsen"
(1947 after photos and scetches from when the British troops liberated the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp on 15 April 1945)

About the painter:
Alan Moore 1914-2015, Australia.
While he was not a person who trained to be painter his entire life he always had the natural talent and the desire to be a painter was always his desire, specifically to be a war artist. He enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and was initially given the task to draw diagrams of certain planes. During his time in the Air Force he was appointed as an official war artist working in New Guinea, the Middle East and Europe. He was asked to depict what was happening in certain areas where the RAAF was stationed. This art piece was created in Melbourne, Australia in 1947. The “Blind Man in Belsen” was created from his experiences and memories during the Second World War and specifically depicted harrowing scenes at Belsen concentration camp in Germany after it was freed from German control. This painting is an example of the horrors he saw of men dying or experiencing major injuries. The painting is done in a fashion that allows a person to imagine the tragedies and horrors of this place and the war in general in a dark and quiet manner. It is a great painting which captures the so-called ugly side of war that may have had the most lasting memory on the history of the war, which is the human tragedy.

Hi 
I accidently came over these vocals from the track "Set to Fail" by Lamb of God when looking for some vocal collab download in the Cloud...They fitted "right on" to my music....I later found out the origin of the vocals and then tried to reach the members of "Lamb of God" via SoundCloud mail but I havn't got any answer yet about if it's OK to use the vocals with my original music in a remix.

The lyrics has become very personal and special to me because they remind me so much about my brother Per, who died this autumn. He was set to fail and lost his way...

I understand that I by making this track public exposes my mixed feelings for my brother that are very personal but I think the track also fits to be in memory of my brother, knowing he enjoyed Heavy Metal living.

I sincerely hope that the members of "Lamb of God" thinks that it's OK when they finally find out me using their extraordinair vocal expression and lyrics.

Do I at any time get the message that they don't wan't this out there I will honor that by removing the lyrics from my uploaded music....So have a listen while you can!

It all started with instrumental, synthetic, electronica inspired by nature, life, family and friends and all kind of sounds and music.
Then I met some fellow musicians in the Cloud to do some collaborative work with, whom I now can call my friends.

Now my Music has expanded from hard core electronica to psychedelic post rock, ambient soundscapes, film Music, IDM, jazz and blues, ASMR (Autonomous sensory meridian response)

Ending up starting a music netlabel with some fellow musicians 2016.
