Adam and I concocted this delightful slice of sonic brutality one afternoon. We both contributed to the riff-writing. Adam played bass, I played guitar and we told the midi drums what to do.

Token White Guys (by Andee Blacksugar & Adam James)

You may know Ben from his stupendous, highly viral and much copied "30 Shredders in One Solo" Youtube clips, but he's also got a slew of great instructional videos (https://www.youtube.com/user/BenHigginsOfficial) and a melt-your-face-off instrumental guitar album appropriately titled Mr. Bad Ass (http://benhiggins.bandcamp.com/). Ben graciously agreed to engage me in a recorded head-cutting session (enacted via email across the Atlantic) on this track, which features his solos panned to the right speaker and mine to the left as usual. This was a good kick in the ass for me, as Ben's a scarily formidable player. Enjoy!

i'm happy to invite Mike Hickey (Venom, Carcass, Hall &amp; Oates.....seriously!) to the head-cuttin' imbroglio. Mike tore it up on this older track of mine (his solos are panned to the right speaker, mine to the left) with metallic abandon!

Been a fan of Jason's for a long time. The mastermind behind Owl Stretching and the mighty Saigon Kick, he's a ridiculously great songwriter but also happens to be a murderer on guitar as well. As usual the guest's solos are panned to the right while mine are panned left. Enjoy! And thanks Jason!

My old sparring partner from teenage years in Pennsylvania joined me on this one. The solos aren't panned this time, but it's easy to follow who's playing what (I do the first 12 bars, then Tony comes in for the next 12, and we alternate evenly for the rest of the track). Tony turned in some blazingly fluid licks on this track - enjoy!

Lee and I both hail from PA but went our separate ways years ago when he moved to LA and I to NYC. So great to jam with him again (albeit via email)! Lee's a phenomenally skilled and tasteful axeman who can be found jamming with the best and brightest at the Baked Potato in LA.

Brooklyn in the house! My local buddy Brian and I started recording stuff together a couple of months ago. Unlike the other collaborations on this page, we tracked this together in the same room at the same time, sitting across from each other and improvising the solos on the fly. Obviously the harmonized bits were worked out. Brian's awesome -- I've stolen some great stuff from him!

On this head-cuttin' extravaganza, the right speaker belongs to Atlanta's Derrick "Hott Soss" Cummings, who, aside from being a bad-ass in his own right, is also lead guitarist for soul legend Patti LaBelle.
