On the same day that man took his first steps on the Moon, a few hours after the triumphant Apollo 11 mission, one of the most important figures in Brazilian electronic music was born: Anderson Noise.

The DJ and producer began his career in the late 80s and was responsible for shaping and guiding the still primitive direction of Brazilian dance music, whether behind some of the most legendary parties in the mid-90s and 00s, the first radio station dedicated to electronic music in the country or the first Brazilian techno label, Noise Music — the word "first" is often used when we talk about Noise.

With an incessantly productive rhythm, Anderson has completed 35 years of career with no sign of any possible slowdown — quite the opposite. With a rare energy, Noise has become a kind of institution and synonymous of Brazilian techno, with a relevance that doesn't conform to past merits, but remains fresh and current whether through its own releases and performance schedule, or through its constant involvement with new projects.

Noise's a figure that we constantly celebrate and has already been featured in Alataj's main columns and podcasts, but now it's time for his debut on Troally. For volume 379, the Minas Gerais native explores the facets of techno that are part of his musical universe established over these almost four decades, while also explaining the reasons why the position he occupies is definitely for few.

With a career spanning over 35 years, Anderson Noise has built an extraordinary legacy. His extensive catalogue includes releases on renowned labels such as Kaligo Records, Universal Music, D-EDGE Records. In addition to his impressive discography, Anderson Noise is the founder of Noise Music, Brazil’s first Techno label, which celebrated its 24th anniversary in April 2023.

Anderson Noise has earned numerous ACHIEVEMENTS throughout his career, including global recognition being listed in the DJ Mag Top 100 Djs for three consecutive years named #26 BEST DJ int the world in 2008.

In 2001, Anderson Noise became a resident DJ at the iconic Turnmills club in London, solidifying his presence on the international stage. His global impact has taken him to over 30 countries, with notable residencies in England and a strong following in Japan.

Involved in the industry since the late 80's, the Minas Gerais native is one of the most responsible for shaping and growing the country's electronic music, earning the respect of many national and international names, including the recognition of the legend Carl Cox. Noise has performed in more than 30 countries around the world, taking his extreme skill and sensitivity with him into the construction of his sets, as well as helping put Brazil on the Techno world map.

As an artist with a career spanning over 30 years and an extensive catalog of releases by several labels, reaching stratospheric numbers, and of course, also on his own label, Noise Music, the first Brazilian Techno label, which turned 23 years old in April 2022.

Noise has developed major collaborations with João Carlos Martins, Milton Nascimento, Daniela Mercury, Lulu Santos and many others, in addition to maintaining the Nie Myer project with band members Skank, Henrique Portugal and Lelo Zanetti.

In his entire career he has received dozens of awards, has been elected the best DJ for two consecutive years by DJ Mag Brasil, and for three years his name was included in the Top 100 list of DJ Mag UK, reaching the position of number 26 in the world in 2008.

Noise has been a producer for memorable parties throughout the 90s and during the 2000s, in unusual places in Belo Horizonte. He is also responsible for creating the first online electronic music radio station in Brazil, Radio Noise.

With an energy rare to be found, common only among the most talented artists, Anderson Noise, is that type of professional who looks at difficulties with responsibility, but doesn't feel intimidated. These are some of his abilities that you will be able to read about in his Biography “O Barulho da Lua” written by journalist Claudia Assef.
