Born in Ibagué, Colombia, Juan Buitrago grew up surrounded by music. He studied music at school, played several instruments in bands and spent part of his youth in Pereira. He later settled in Buenos Aires, where he has lived for more than a decade.

His musical roots range from pop, disco and progressive rock to house, trance and techno, eventually leading him towards progressive house. Away from music, Juan enjoys spending time with his partner and pets, exercising and following Formula 1.
