“Under Reconstruction” is a sonic manifesto of ruins in transformation. In this album, Ondelic dives deep into a visceral process of deconstruction and rebirth, where each track represents a fragment of the soul being rebuilt through sweat, memory, and resistance.

Forged in raw distortion, pounding rhythms, and lyrics that confront vulnerability, the album captures the precise moment when collapse gives way to the will to rebuild — not as it was, but with scars worn proudly as symbols.

The sound moves between the weight of grunge, the redemptive angst of hard rock, and modern alternative textures. Dirty guitars, gritty vocals, and dense atmospheres create an emotional journey pulsing with pain, clarity, and liberation.

Standout tracks like “Chains of the Hollow,” “Weightless in the Fall,” and “Halo Bent” serve as chapters from a raw personal diary — written in collapse and reassembled in defiance, resonating with anyone who’s ever had to rebuild themselves from scratch.

Recorded LIVE in 2018 - one of the best and LOUDEST performances ever witnessed at The Hideaway Bar Enmore.

This is an unofficial release approved by the boys of MEAT CAKE. Designed to be played LOUD - an accurate representation of such a stellar performance, that will now pay tribute to the memories of a live music venue that held great times for many.

A personal note from myself - 
In 2018, I had the great privilege to record a live set of MEAT CAKE at The Hideaway Bar Enmore whilst working as the in house sound engineer. I'm very proud of the results - despite a lack of, and broken equipment. This wouldn't have been possible without Keith, Graeme and Pete pulling off such a killer performance. I remember the walls shaking and stuff falling off the roof, and I've done my best to re-create that energy in this mix. I hope you'll enjoy listening to the results, and that you'll be transported right back in front of The Hideaway Bar's stage and remember what it was like to be there. Turn it up!
