Nicola Conte & Nico Lahs return with their eagerly awaited second EP, continuing the musical journey they began with their acclaimed 12” Macumba de Oxalà / La Danse De L’Esprit.

This new release confirms the creative synergy between two producers who speak the same musical language: a refined blend of spiritual jazz, Afro-American rhythms and electronic sensibility, designed for the most eclectic and sophisticated dancefloors. The Tema Due project is aimed at a refined club scene, attentive to the depth and purpose of sound. Once again, Conte and Lahs are turning the dance floor into a ritual space, where body and spirit move in harmony in a musical language that not only entertains but also elevates.

In this “EP2”, Nicola Conte and Nico Lahs collaborate for the first time with the talented young Brazilian percussionist Gabriel Prado and consolidate their long-standing partnership with pianist Pietro Lusso, who plays a fundamental role in shaping the musical identity of this work. Among the tracks, “Share Your Love” stands out in particular, interpreted by Brazilian singer Nina Miranda, who brings emotional depth to a track that talks about peace, sharing and love between peoples, and is enriched by the participation of Giovanni Guidi on Fender Rhodes and synths.

“EP2” precedes the release of Tema Due’s full-length album, which is currently taking shape – a work that promises to further consolidate the duo’s shared vision, expanding their conceptual and sonic scope. To crown this creative cycle, the album will also be followed by a third EP with additional unreleased tracks, symbolically closing a trilogy of sound and vision. A coherent, intense and uncompromising musical journey, where club culture meets spirituality and artistic exploration.

After a 2 year hiatus following his last release on Under Your Skin Records, Harted returns home with “Dear Unrest”, his first full album and the first album ever to be out on Moodfamily. The trippy, soft yet rhythmic and danceable elektronica and IDM sound on Harted’s third release “Dear Unrest” reflects a period of actual unrest, demonstrating the sound of his personal growth during that time. It represents an honest quest for the human experience of unity and the existential search for his function in the world, unearthing a battle to harmonize his sound with his sincere emotions.

The tracks were originally created for a live set, actually rushed by a fear to fall short of fresh, new material and of not having anything new to play. “I didn’t want to bring the same live set as usual and this momentum pushed me to create new material. I was craving to play that live set because I love to connect with the public in that way.”

Drawing strength and inspiration from listening to Bonobo, Rival Consoles and admiring live concerts of Nils Frahm, while he envisions the evolution of his live shows beyond a mere music performance alone. ‘Dear Unrest’ is only a part of the journey of coming into his own. And it’s not over yet.

Esteemed artists Nico Stojan and Timujin make their debut on Rebellion this May with Oktoberfest, a powerful three track release that sees the duo collaborate for the very first time. 

Nico explains “this EP is made up of older tracks that Timur and myself made together two years ago whilst I was in London. We invited two musician friends and spent some days together in different studios.” The EP opens with the echoing charm of the title track, as a hypnotic vocal sample asserts itself in a foreign language. Next up, the guitar chords of Satsang gently pluck away as flutes whirr behind a tempered kick. Higher Altitude rounds the EP, as a guitar solo rolls along before giving way to a poignant array of shimmering maraca sounds. 

A native to Berlin, Nico Stojan has been a presence in the electronic music sphere for more than two decades. Having cut his teeth in the German capital with a residency at Bar 25, the talented DJ soon went on to form Ouie Records, alongside Acid Pauli. Previous releases can also be found on the likes of Crosstown Rebels and Physical Records. Timujin is one of Russia’s finest exports. A regular of Burning Man, he has also released on Flying Circus, Earthly Delights and Dope Musique, and is the founder of the international art and sound collective, White Ocean.

Huse alias Artur Janusz Huse was born on 21/12/1980 in Poland, where he spent only the first four years. Once got the taste, Huse quickly developed a deeper interest, not only as regards the various genre, but also the theory and practice of DJing. At 15 years, he bought his first turntables and began to practice the art of plate spinning. Due to his desire to succeed and his ambition, he succeeded in a very short time on the basics, making his equipment and the art of spinning records familiar, so that in 2003 he ventured his first public steps as a DJ in Hamburg. Since then he has perfected not only his skills on the turntables and cd players, and he has, over the years - down from an initial Trance, House, Progressive House, Minimal, Tech House and Goa today to a style towards Tech/Deep House has developed.


HusE alias Artur Huse wurde am 21.12.1980 in Polen geboren, wo er jedoch nur die ersten vier Lebensjahre verbrachte. Bereits 1984 zog er mit seinen Eltern nach Hamburg, was es ihm bereits in frühen Jahren ermöglichte, aus der anfänglichen Begeisterung für elektronische Musik eine Leidenschaft werden zu lassen. Einmal auf den Geschmack gekommen, entwickelte HusE rasch ein tiefergehendes Interesse, nicht nur hinsichtlich der diversen Genre, sondern vor allem auch an Theorie und Praxis des DJing. Mit 15 schließlich kaufte er sich seine ersten Plattenspieler und begann sich in der Kunst des Plattendrehens zu üben. Bedingt durch seinen Erfolgswillen und seinen Ehrgeiz gelang es ihm, sich innerhalb kürzester Zeit über die Grundlagen hinaus mit seinem Equipment und der Technik des Auflegens vertraut zu machen, so dass er bereits 2003 seine ersten öffentlichen Schritte als DJ in Hamburg wagte. Seitdem hat er nicht nur sein Können an den Plattenspielern und Cd Playern perfektioniert, auch  hat er sich im Laufe der Jahre - von anfangs Trance, House, Progressive House, Minimal, Tech House und Goa bis heute zu einem  Style in Richtung Tech/Deep House hin entwickelt hat.
