Brooklyn-based producer Brian Cid follows up standout releases on the likes of Knee Deep In Sound, Lost & Found and microCastle with a debut on Berlin's Save Us Records (home to the likes of Jonas Saalbach, YokoO and Kris Davis). The two track release, which has already won the hallowed support of BBC Radio 1 legend Pete Tong, comes strapped with a remix from  rising star Andrea Ljekaj.

The former pop/hip-hop producer took time out of his intense schedule this week to talk us through the release, his current projects and his motivation behind the move to the electronic underworld. Superfriends is the new label from Andhim; a label that captures the pair’s charm and ebullience, not only from their past releases but also serves as a stylistic trajectory to date; one that has moved from gentle eclecticism through infinite fun into a refined and contagiously unique electronic sound.

Andhim have over the last decade cultivated an exceptionally loyal fan base of musical lovers and peers alike; that continue to crave the German pairs musical agility and action packed forays.

Superfriends is far from a obvious tick in andhim’s career “to do list” but a strong clue that they are capably poised to continue their anti-intellectualism approach to everything they do.

The international colours of andhim continue to reach all corners of the dance floor focusing less on the narrative and more on the big and fun– Superfriends is set to be an outlet for the production/DJ duo’s most ambitious ideas. An independent exercise in only the finest studio output from themselves but those that inspire, influence and impress.

The first release “Tosch EP” is pristine in production and devoid of existing label noise, where powerfully subtle melodies can sit side by side with immersive dance floor heavy electronic music.

“Tosch EP” signals the pairs desire to remain multifaceted in approach and DIY in execution while also slowly revealing the imagination behind it. The culmination of an intensely creative career to date; andhim brandish a variety tonal ideas that include spacious, diversified and unforced melodies that capture the emotion displayed in the DJ booth.

The London based artist Third Son aka Joseph Thomas Price writes unique, futuristic, border crossing and forward thinking music for those who know.
And there is more to come.
Despite him keeping a low profile... more then a dozen releases on top labels speak a language for itself and have made him one of the hottest English exports.
Living in a flat with an LED ceiling, being surrounded by music from an early age on due to his father being a lecturer of music at the University, his music is stylish and spiritual at the same time.
Known for wearing dark clothes (and eating lots of cereal) Third Son's music is referred to as magnificent, melodic and truly unique.
Influences have come from multi talent and genius Amon Tobin who is known for his unusual methodology in sound design and music production...

Frozen, isolated from the outer world. The only source of food from the old world was an old rusty transporter owned by a vietnamese guy from a restaurant called "The Golden Turtle", parked in a frosty backyard.
From time to time some Silverheight Gray Seals came by on which Ole and Martin could warm themselves up a little bit. But the times were hard.
In a special moment after inhaling some expanding foam came the idea to just follow the Gray Seals through the door which was open the whole goddamn time.
3 years were gone, the freedom so near, but their brains were frozen.
But all in all this had one good thing...
In the shimmering light of their playstation 1, while playing some tekken, sitting at their tiletable, between tubing tobacco and coffee whitener, they had this awesome idea for an homage for that long time and that special street they were living on for 
so long, the Reilstreet!
