Ronn enlists an international cast of producers/artists, including Beat Pharmacy, Mashti, Black Eskimo(aka Marco Valentin & Ingrid Chavez), Deep Dive Corporation, Haranaki and New York-based newcomer, E39 (aka Peter Tanico), to rework his sultry original into a diverse set of mixes that range from summery, hip-shaking house, deep and dark tech and hypnotic spaced-out dub to cinematic chill-out, sly electro-industrial and heady post trip-hop grooves equally suited for clubs, lounges or your headphones.

Born of a mutual love for Hip Hop, Indie Pop, Electronica, and Ambient music, Black Eskimo is a triumphant return to form for Chavez, and an impressive debut for Valentin. Chavez’s fans will instantly recognize her poetic lyrics and seductive vocals which breathe color into Valentin’s gritty urban beats and lush production techniques. 

The title single, “Deep and Heady” is a midtempo trip-hop flavored ode to love’s addictive powers. “Escapology” is an upbeat anthem of rebirth. “Beautiful” is a bouncy summer jam that celebrates the giddy rush of crushes. The sensuous, downtempo ballads “Touch”, “My Sky”, and “Hangover” round out the set.  This is Part 1 of Black Eskimo's Deep & Heady album.  Part 2 will be released in September, along with the entire album on CD and limited Double Vinyl.
