¨Well, first of all im a big big big fan of the music from Mali and Omou Sangare for many years and this track is a very special one for me, probably one of the favourite edits i've ever done. It's been evolving for around 3 years and i've played this one in many festivals, so i decided to send it to the Cosmo fam to share it with the humans around the world¨

About Andi.Andean

@andiandean is a sonic entity created by the percussionist, producer, dj and human lover of nature Andrés Aravena, born in Santiago / Chile.

His journey in music began at very young age exploring the African rhythms while playing the drums in the hidden forests of the city at the same time that he became interested in electronic music and reggae. All this accompanied by a great interest in nature and an endless number of experiences in the Andes mountains that then led him to travel through South America exploring its sounds, humanities, ecosystems and settle down to live surrounded by volcanoes, lakes and nature in the South of Chile, spending time into his studio and giving birth to the “Andi.Andean” project.

Then his creations began to appear on various labels around the world as well as tours and festivals invitations around Europe. He currently lives in Berlin where he continues a constant exploration of rhythms and sounds¨

About this edit :
This edit is a tribute to the great artist Forward Kwenda from Zimbabwe and evokes the strength of the spirit just like the name of the original song, "Spirit Power".

It was created several years ago in Pucón, between volcanoes, lakes, rivers and forests and seeks to transport us to that inner and telluric space where our inner being and dance are. The sound of the mbira is the essential element of the track and reminds us of the voices of the ancient spirits that accompany us in life, especially those related to our element of water. They are the ones that give us energy and support in the moments when we need to go through moments of darkness and continue to the other side of the tunnel.

Andi.Andean es el resultado del encuentro musical de mundos sonoros que conviven en la Tierra y mas allá. About  Forward Kwenda :
Forward Kwenda is a mbira performer from Zimbabwe.
Asked about his experience of playing mbira, Forward Kwenda says:
“When I pick up my mbira, I don’t know what is going to happen. The music just goes by itself, taking me higher and higher until I can end up crying because the music is so much greater than a human being can understand.” and “I just have to get out of the way so spirits can make my mbira play.”
Once again, the spirits of the ancestors work their magical power through the thumbs of Forward Kwenda, as he ‘gets out of the way’ and lets it happen. Its fascinating to hear Forward start playing a piece, and then hear the spirits take over. You will find your heart soaring, find yourself crying, laughing, exalting in the divine. Even for those experienced in mbira music, each piece goes farther than one ever imagined…

Cosmovision presents '' Animals of the Earth ''

The human race has lived and shared this space we call Earth with the animal kingdom for millions of years but today, most cultures have abandoned the idea that humans are animals like the others. Our modern societies have been treating Mother Earth as if it was their property, extracting resources, polluting constantly, changing the landscape, killing the other animals we and destroying its natural balance.

Since the Industrial Revolution, humanity has killed 83% of all wild mammals and half of all plants of the Earth. Two hundred species of living beings are going extinct every single day. We collectively need to change so many things in areas such as the use of plastic, meat consumption, contaminating energies, day to day overconsumption and more. How can artists raise awareness regarding this?

Thinking on how to be simple but at the same time Universal, Cosmovision Records presents ¨Animals of the Earth¨. For this project we have gathered to co-create an ecosystem that lives in a music album. Producers from many places on Earth explored their connections with our animal cousins, remembering that the condor, the rabbit, the deer, the frog and all the others are our partners in the long trip that this green and lively planet takes in the Universe.

We invite you to come with us on this journey through the musical ecosystem of the ¨Animals of the Earth¨ to discover, respect and care for these beautiful beings that live with us.

About the song :
This track was created in-between Pucon-Chile, Vale do Capao-Basil and Berlin-Germany. This has been the route of adventures of Manu Ela and Andi.Andean. The Cobra Coral is a snake that inhabits Brazil and it represents movement, the power of life and death, the game between the innocence of feeling children again and being attentive to the present to see clearly the magical path that this animal of power brings .--

Then his creations began to appear on various labels around the world as well as tours and festivals. He currently lives in Berlin where he continues the eternal exploration of rhythms and sounds.

"I met Andi at Nomade Festival, him and his crew were so welcoming to me and we were like a family instantly, he was hosting various drum workshops with his friends which were really fun to participate in, and played the most incredible opening liveset which ended off in this wild drum circle, one of the highlights of the festival for me! I was lucky enough to get some of his music and was blown away! We also got to play together in Pucon with the La Näve family and we made music with some incredible musicians and producers. Una búsqueda de resonancias, conexiones, sonoridades que se cuelan en la sensibilidad del canto a la gran consciencia, los espíritus da natureza. 

El original sonido de Manu Ela nace en Santiago de Chile, influenciado por el Soul y el hip hop, para luego mezclarse con colores más ambient y ritmos más electrónicos. Más adelante su vida junto a la naturaleza es su gran inspiración e inicia un camino paralelo entre inventora y creadora de letras y melodías y la producción musical, la intervención de ritmos e instrumentos como la flauta y el ukelele, de manera genuina y autodidacta. Actualmente vive y se desenvuelve como música, productora, diseñadora y tatuadora en Berlín, Alemania, enriqueciéndose de la cultura artística de ese lugar.

Los astros se vienen sincronizando para generar la triple conjunción entre Júpiter, Saturno y Plutón que da paso a la nueva era de acuario, llamada la época de la nueva humanidad que todos esperamos.
