The Return Of The Mad Funk EP is the work of California's DJ Rasoul, criminally underrated in the house community despite excellent projects on Large, 83 West, Strictly Rhythm, Leaf, Guidance, Uncut, Robsoul and others. Tastemakers like Benji Candelario, David Morales, Glenn Underground, Paul Johnson, Carl Craig, and Stacey Pullen were heavy supporters of this three- tracker back in the days.

For the second announcement of the upcoming sophomore Keinemusik album, Rampa, &ME and Adam Port teamed up with another threesome. That's none other than Netherlands finest when it comes to emotively driven dance music - Cubicolor. And it shows it is a match made in hymn-heaven. "Before The Flood" delicately embodies that feeling its title automatically insinuates. That calm, yet tensed up state, intensifying with every bar of that bassline driven, string kissed sonic foundation, shaping up the appropriate environment for Tim Digby's signature falsetto. It is a contemporary Pop jewel in its own right and in context of the body of work it's taken from, a hint towards one or another unexpected stylistic nuance.

San Francisco’s Luttrell shares his latest EP ‘Music For My Memories Pt. II’. The second in a trilogy of works to be shared throughout 2021, the forthcoming EP follows on from the success of lead single ‘Operation Midnight’, which saw support from Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1. 
  
Since launching his Luttrell project in 2016, he has become an an Anjunadeep fan favourite, and produced some of the label’s most memorable moments including ‘Intergalactic Plastic’, ‘Contact’ and ‘Need You’, which all won resounding support from BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, Annie Mac and Pete Tong. The past three years have seen Eric release two acclaimed LPs, his debut ‘Into Clouds’ and follow up ‘Lucky Ones’, along with a wave of well-received singles and remixes for the likes of Moby, Jai Wolf, Catching Flies and Above & Beyond; amassing him 55 million streams across his catalogue to date.

Pets welcome Last Magpie to the nest. A Leeds-based long-timer with some incredible previous on the likes of Me Me Me and Hyper Colour; over the last seven years he's carved his woozy, dreamy sound into a highly distinctive signature that sits somewhere between early Trentemoller, Jon Hopkins and Nicolas Jaar. Time to take flight.

'Clocks' winds up our cogs slowly with hazy keys melting softly and poignantly over a soft-focused beat. Pregnant with emotion but unhurried and restrained, it sets us up for three more beautiful originals; 'Lessons' conjures up feelings of Burial with its faraway broken beats and thick, dizzying pads, 'Seconds' moves closer to the dancefloor with an immaculate, prog-like arrangement that wouldn't go amiss on Bedrock while 'Reality' gently winds us down with an introspective shuffle beneath shimmering keys and a whole load of heartache.

Heavy, emotional, utterly compelling. It's not often Pets go as deep as this, but when they do. Wow.

Enduro Disco strikes back with another distinctively different slice of electronic joy for Exploited. A cute Bollywood-reminiscent female vocal sample provides the colourful centrepiece of ‘Ciao’, where filtered, sidechained orchestral strings pulse beneath saccharine synth melody and heady FX and percussion conversations. A lazy bass groove combines with the optimistic melodies to create a dreamy, summery feel that has the innocence of childhood about it. The track builds brilliantly through shimmering percussion and fizzing chords to the most blissed-out and chilled of crescendos.
Biesmans pushes the button marked ‘Full Italo’ and sets the feel-good dial to ‘11’ on his spunky remix, pitching wiggling bass arpeggios against triumphant chords, deft ‘80s drums and spine-tingling melody. Set in this context, the vocal becomes a triumphant battle cry, and the layer upon layer of gorgeous synth magic propels the track into fist-pumping, joyous echelons.
Johannes Albert goes into a deeper disco place, lacing the languid original with flecks of gentle acidic bubbling and playful melodies. Big snare hits add a little weight to the warmth of the melodic parts, all in all making for another perfect summer jam. Instrumentals are provided to use at your discretion.
