OVEN is a Polish upcoming DJ based in London. His niche is Hard Techno with dark and industrial elements, but he is also an enthusiast of old-school techno and does not hide his secret love for schranz.

Having moved around a lot, he gets most of his inspiration from abroad - mainly the German and the Dutch scene, where he began his journey with electronic music.

"Dug out from the nearly lost files of an "old, forgotten computer" are the nine tracks which make up the forthcoming mini-album from Applescal, From A to Sea. One of the tunes crafted by the Dutch producer between 2008 and 2012, "Screams" is a particularly lush and sprawling cut which would have felt right at home on Dreaming in Key, Applescal's most recent full-length effort released via his own Atomnation imprint earlier this year. The production presents its grainy textures, smoldering melodies, and other rich sonic layers atop an IDM-indebted shuffle, landing the track somewhere along the lines of a more stoney Clark or a subterranean M83 (during his instrumental days, of course). The project has made a creative musical pathway that ties a bridge between Experimental and Industrial techno with crafty soundscapes, focusing entirely on beat-driven work.

MAROONED represents 'Borders of known'(Tbilisi)  as a resident artist, resident DJ at CIRCUS club and is a family member of 'Khoros'(UK) label with his collaborative project - Marooned Solar Siblings.

Inspired by the film, this EP serves as both a sonic tribute to the movie’s protagonist, Jeanne, and a reflection on the broader themes of female suffering and resilience. The EP is a masterful blend of experimental electronic and dark ambient music which create an immersive and mind-altering sonic experience.

For its fourth release, Harry Agius aka Midland's Graded label has signed its first new act in the form of Montreal-based Solitary Dancer. With ‘Desire & Apathy’ being instantly familiar to anyone who heard Midland's Essential Mix earlier this year— in which it subsequently proved to be a much asked about inclusion— this eponymously titled release marks the debut of Solitary Dancer, as well as Agius' second time stepping into the role of label A&R following Hubie Davidson's appearance on Graded's ‘Regraded' sub-label last year.

From the opening moments of the EP's title track it is apparent why Aguis welcomed this release to the label, with 'Desire & Apathy' highlighting Solitary Dancer's similarly shared talent for elegant, richly-sculpted sound design and a knack for propulsive club rhythms that eschew rigid 4x4 drum patterns. 'Desire & Apathy' takes a classic electro beat and through the use of elegaic pad washes and swells of sinister bass notes morphs it into persistently engaging shapes. 

The B-side's 'Paradise Found' is a suspenseful coralling of intriguing sonic elements, with its fractured beats combined with a cinematic sense of drama and melancholy that's brought to the fore on the beatless 'Rapture Version' which brings Solitary Dancer's first release to an impressive close.
