this album really broke me...

the naming style of the album was inspired by Crywolf's album "widow pt. 1", if you look it up, you know what i mean. the seamless transitions between the tracks were inspired by sidenotes' album "DESTROY EVERYTHING YOU LOVE, BEFORE EVERYTHING YOU LOVE DESTROYS YOU".

andorax journal #1:
if there is one thing i can say about july, then it's that it started out horrible. if i'm being honest, july was the month where it started to become horrible from the very get-go. you can't fight back as much as you would and if you try - it fights back and overwhelmes you, and that is what happened here.
from there onwards things only got worse, however if i had to describe this feeling i felt, it was absolutely horrifyingly scary, how little it took to get me to this point. it was just one of the things i was most scared of to happen.

andorax journal #2:
august took everything that made july a hell for me and amped it up to 11. i don't even know where to start or how to start. i felt like an absolute suicidal mess and every thought i had was out to get me. i was literally fighting for my own survival at this point, not knowing if it ever were to stop.
i had no hope of ever getting out of this situation. i felt abandoned, betrayed and lied to, and that added onto the fact that i had to experience every single trauma in my head all over again at once, didn't help either and absolutely destroyed me.

when september started, i barely even recognized myself. when i looked in the mirror, i wasn't looking at myself, i was looking at a walking corpse.this feeling got worse with every day afterwards and i can't describe in words how i felt, it's simply not possible.
all hope was lost for me in that moment to ever recover or turn back into who i once used to be. nothing made sense to me anymore and i was losing myself. it was incredibly scary.

i don't remember all that much about october, except it being a very dry and hopeless month. i started to accept that i was stuck in this cycle of depression and recurring suicidal thoughts everyday now and that there was nothing i could do to escape it.
to be honest, i had moments where i enjoyed life, but i also had a lot of moments where i was inches away of taking it. it wasn't until the very end of the month i would get a message of someone who would give me a huge motivational boost and that motiavtion would even carry over into the next month.

with the motivational boost i gathered from the last month, the beginning of november wasn't too bad. while i still had a lot of negative thoughts, it wasn't as bad as in the last couple months.
however a blast from the past would soon change that, giving me more hope and more despair at the same time, plunging me into an even deeper spot than before, where there surely was no escpape out of.

AndoraX resembles the evolution and growth of a 22y old artist from Graz, Southern Austria. Having a troubled life full of difficult obstacles to overcome, constantly battling his inner demons and trying to take care of his mental health, he dedicated expressing himself and his personal experiences through music.

He is known for his simple, yet complex and effective writing style among his friends, weaving his entire life together into one big cohesive "slow-burn progressive life story", making his tracks initially hard to understand and follow, since it requires people to read between the lines, but leaves a very satisfying feeling, once understood. AndoraX also likes to divide his music into various chapters, making his art feel more like reading a book.

Being initially invested in only heavy underground music, his music taste started to rapidly evolve and change from 2020 onwards, which caused his creativity and willingness to try other genres to skyrocket.
