Andraž Musec known as Wortex, has discovered  electronic music when he was only 11. At that age he found mainstream music and till the age of 14, he knew almost all the styles of electronic music. When he was 13, some of local "ravers" gave him a cassette with techno music, so special style, that there are only few people who knows it nowadays  and this style became his love, his passion.  After 3 years of deciding to be or not to be a DJ, he decided to buy an equipment become the real DJ and this was his life decision. Those days, new kind of hard techno was born, for the most of people known as "schranz". Releases from Chris Liebing, Glenn Wilson, DJ Amok, DJ Bam Bam, Sven Wittekind, Leo Lakeralways puts a big smile on his face. He was managing two music labels – Brain Damage Records and Slaughter Beatz. Wortex's production was played by many big DJ names as Lenny Dee, Sven Wittekind, Lukas, Marco Remus, Mario Ranieri..and he became one of the "schranz"  pioneers in Slovenia and worldwide. He also played with the big stars as Umek, Hertz, Mauro Picotto, James Ruskin, Oliver Ho, Paul Langley, Pet Duo in Slovenia and foreign countries. When the new wave of hard techno music became popular, he left behind this style and he put everything in even harder styles (industrial, darkcore, hardcore...). He never wanted to do popular things. With the growth of digital music releases he finally decided to stop Djing and give all what it takes for the production and live performing. You can hear him on labels like Technodrome, Dark Noise, Dark Shark, Abracadabra, Soundlab, Darktek Digital, Lizard...
And what does he say about himself? »I have no style and this word doesn't exist in my dictionary. That's why my music is so special.« Style for him means the downfall of the last hope for the electronic music, which offers us so many options and this is the reason why he never stops working with music.
