"Ambient music innovator, Brian Eno said that “Ambient Music must be able to accommodate many levels of listening attention without enforcing one in particular; it must be as ignorable as it is interesting.” This album does just that. It can be enjoyed alone, in a comfy chair under a pair of headphones, or in the company of others, as background music. Its soothing yet somewhat hollow and eerie sounds envelope listeners in the sublime, transporting them out of the city, while constructing beautiful imagery of remote landscapes. Although this isolationist sentiment is a common thread throughout the album, each song offers a new element; whether it’s strings in Andras Toth’s 'Osidius,' or the introduction of synth wave in Tazz and Giovanni’s 'Le Mingan'. As the tracks change, so does the way the sound resonates.

Brennan Green’s 'Ambien' seems to break this pattern with Charlie Chaplin’s speech from The Great Dictator overlaying the music. This is one of the more compelling tracks on the album, along with Fairmount’s 'Twin Freaks.' Contrastingly James Wellburn’s track also breaks away from this pattern with its more industrial sounding hum. These differences are possibly what make this album interesting: its inclusion of ambient-focused groups like Ambalance alongside more house-centric acts like Tazz and The Mole. This results in a varied landscape of tones, taking listeners on a journey of awe-inspiring imagery and sound."
