"BUCKWEEDZ! is a whole other animal. A guy orders a buckweed hit, it just doesn't mean take the guy out, it means take the guy out in the most painful way possible. It means the vic should suffer. Typical buckweed hit is to shoot a guy up the ass. Yeah, uh, ba-bing. A slug up the ass, you don't die so much as contort for a good 15 minutes, then you die. I imagine it's like crappin' white-hot razor blades." In that way Jack Warden describes BUCKWEEDZ! in the motion picture „Things to Do in Denver When You’re Dead“.
The german band BUCKWEEDZ! transforms this statement into a raw cocktail of Metal, Rock & Roll, Punk and Stoner. Their acute way of making music forms a bullet of the intensive, melancholic and brutal impressions of their lives.  In that moment the BUCKWEEDZ! have entered a stage, they become projectiles filled with explosive energy. Never mind if it’s a big festival stage or a small living room.
The lyrics report in a fair-mindedness about decisive experiences on the brink of the society. BUCKWEEDZ! empitomize a musical exclamation in a jaded and high gloss polished  civilisation. The five acutely opposed characters of the band have found a mutual voice with their songs, which they raise decided and vociferous.
