    After the success of the first episode which introduced the label's forthcoming sounds to many, we really wanted to go one step ahead on this new "Perspectives" to display the core of the Room With A View identity.
    
    DAIRMOUNT made sure that you'll get enough for your summer sets : 7 tracks and 60 minutes of timeless, deepness, moodyness & dubbyness. These few words could sum up the homogenic value of this collection which is also the perfect way to get to know better the core artists of the label & how close & personal we are working together.
    
    Omni is the freshly finished new cut of DAIRMOUNT himself & his partner in crime MARINO BERARDI. After the success of their raw "Bass-ment Tale", they headed to the deeper side of their experiments and deliver a 10 minutes journey of its own kind fusing their wide spectrum of influences.
    
    The Flight Of The Dragon by HONESTY is another proof of the very own sound universe of the Berlin producer. Extremely subtle & musical, this track is perfect for early hours of a midsummer night. Truly beautiful!
    
    Bleep Me, one of the highlights of the Renaissance EP of HONESTY, has been revisited in a very unexpected way by Freerange's JIMPSTER who delivered an hypnotic Basic Channel-esque perspective of the track that will surprise his numerous fans. A very special gift by our longtime friend from London...
    
    MARLOW, who is soon releasing on DENNIS FERRER's Objektivity, created Digga, another monster of raw analogue overdrive as only him can come up with. Another delight for the numerous fans of "Fonk" & his recent remix of Sygaire on the label.
    
    ART OF TONES' Terres Conquises is an outstanding track here as it is uniting 2 of our favorite producers for a very special tribute : CARL CRAIG's work is revisited by LUDOVIC LLORCA who managed to bring his own vision of Carl's body of work.
    The track is included in the forthcoming STACEY PULLEN mix on 20:20 Vision and has been blessed by C2 who is already playing it in his sets.
    
    Coming as a teaser of his forthcoming EP in 2010, Gothenburg's legend & very dear friend ANDREAS SAAG has blessed us with his amazing Jazz lapse, a track that DAIRMOUNT fell in love with at first listening & promised Andreas to introduce to music lovers worldwide.
    
    And last but not least, another secret weapon of the RWAV roster, JOEL ALTER drops a deep Techno bomb called Acid Rain, already considered as a classic amongst the lucky ones that heard it, announcing his forthcoming Omerta EP in the autumn.

Tripmastaz is one of a few russians Djs/Producers who are known our scene. He already released on labels like Moon Harbour, DJ Sneaks Magnetic Records and of course on Cécille. The first release in 2013 on the mother label contains three vinyl and one digital tracks. Undo Da Past EP starts with with "R U Scared" a tuff forward moving house track with an old school bassline. Second one on A "Komatoze" is focused on a warm groove combined with a crazy wired acid line. The massive long B side "Oren's Sklyanka" captivates with his perfect groove and atmospheric sounds.

Tripmastaz - Undo Da Past EP (CEC034)

Jake Fairley AKA Fairmont has been pioneering forward thinking electronic music for well over a decade now, working alongside heavyweight labels such as Border Community, Traum Schallpletten and most recently My Favorite Robot Records who released his third artist album November 2012. The LP, ‘Automaton’ received
broad critical acclaim with praise heaped on it by publications such as Mixmag, DJ Mag, Groove, Tsugi and Faze magazine and select cuts from the album began to show up in the charts of a number of leading DJs. Now Fairmont & My Favorite Robot Records have decided to collect together a series of remixes of some of the leading lights from the LP, reworked by some of their favourite producers, the results are here on ‘Automaton Remixes 1’ with a 2nd remix package scheduled to follow later this year.

The EP kicks off with ‘Last Dance’, a key cut from the album which now gets overhauled by remix heavyweight Ewan Pearson. Pearson’s remix credentials needed little introduction having been a go-to man for the likes of Depeche Mode, Metronomy, Hot Chip etc as well as numerous dance acts. Here he takes ‘Last Dance’ and works it into an epic ten minute electronic anthem as only Mr Pearson knows how, simply stunning!

Following hot on his heels, Ryan Crosson picks up the remix baton and sets about transforming ‘Alkaline’ into a brilliantly understated slice of leftfield techno with a light and airy feel to it. The third mix sees Factor City's Undo remix ‘Fate’, turning in a slo-mo electro influenced piece of electronica that marries Fairmont’s song structure with some intense and moving production. The penultimate mix sees recent MFRR convert Arthur Oskan gets to grips with ‘Tiny Diamonds’ delivering a remix that pulses and purrs with it’s arpeggiated synth
lines bringing a truly uplifting quality. Finally we close the package as we started it with remix overlord Ewan Pearson delivering an instrumental version to sit against his remix.

With the recent Jori Hulkkonen remix package fresh in the memory and now this stunning selection of Fairmont mixes it’s clear that My Favorite Robot Records are becoming very adept at picking the right remixer for the right job. ‘Automaton remixes 1’ is a must have collection for all lovers of quality electronic music.
