ARTIST'S MESSAGE:

I lived in a rather rural village for most of my childhood and adolescence. Ironically, I really only found my connection to nature during my university years, which I spent in the urban center of a big city. I went to most places by foot in those years and started paying much more attention to my environment. Exploring the city and finding all kinds of interesting and aesthetic locations was a lot of fun.
At the same time this new habit of enjoying my environment allowed me to rediscover my home. Long walks over the fields surrounding the village became my go-to activity during holidays. Soon I felt like after the degree was finished, my next station had to be more rural again, with more natural spaces accessible for me to explore.
I was super happy when a job opportunity right at the biggest lake in Bavaria presented itself. Now I can spend my break sitting at the water and watching the distant mountains beyond the other shore. I live on a rather remote farm, surrounded only by fields, forests and a lake. Naturally, I spend a lot of my free time on exhaustive walks through the beautiful landscape, and music is a loyal companion to frame the experience.
It is not always progressive electronic music, but it often is. These walks for me are opportunities to really immerse myself in longer pieces, to put together set lists for mixes like this or just create nice playlists. At the same time my fascination with and connection to nature grew and keeps growing with every walk. Paying attention to my environment keeps teaching me about myself and my place in the world, and right now my favourite place to learn is the forest behind the farm.

Aside from being a refuge for many people nowadays, natural forests provide protection against erosion, floods, drought, rockfall and avalanches. They are important for the climate, filter the air and store carbon. Forests thereby also contribute to the compensation of CO2 emissions, especially through CO2 storage in the forest soil. They are biotic communities for countless species and are therefore particularly important for biodiversity. Healthy forests are not only a valuable recreational area, but at the same time even an important economic factor. 
In order for the forest to fulfill these important functions for life in the long term, we as humans should do everything we can to reduce the stresses on these ecosystems and strengthen the stability of our forests, as they can only adapt to changing environmental conditions in the long term.

Their purpose is the protection, preservation and care of the forest, especially the mountain forest and the cultural landscapes, as well as the promotion of the understanding of the interrelationships in nature, the concerns of the forest and the dependence of humans on these bases of life.

🧚🏼‍♀️Welche Artists und DJs inspirieren Dich?

Township Rebellion verfolge ich seit 2016 und bin immer sehr gespannt auf die neuen Releases, ihr Style ist sehr einzigartig.

Außerdem liebe ich die Tracks von Sainte Vie, seitdem ich das Burning Man Set 2019 gesehen habe bin ich ein richtiger Fan von seinen Produktionen geworden.

Als DJ auf jeden Fall Solomun, er war einer der DJs die ich von Anfang an verfolgt habe, besonders die 5h Sets vom BPM Festival México, leider findet dass nicht mehr statt.

🧚🏼‍♀️Wie viel Zeit nimmst du dir in der Woche für Musik?

Sehr viel, durch KataHaifisch (Podcasts & Label + Premieren Anfragen) das kostet alles viel Zeit, wenn dazu noch die Podcasts kommen die ich selber gestalte (Musik Diggin) und SoundCloud Nachrichten beantworten oder allgemeine Anfragen, würde ich auf 20-25h schätzen, obwohl auch nicht jede Woche identisch ist, kommt auch immer drauf an was gerade ansteht an Releases oder auch eigene Veranstaltungen.
Trotzdem ist es das beste Hobby was man haben kann❤️

🧚🏼‍♀️Welches Talent hättest du gerne und warum?

Da ich seit diesem Jahr endlich die Zeit und die gewisse Neugierde entdeckt habe fürs produzieren, hoffe ich dort noch ein bestimmtes Talent zu entwickeln, ist aber auch alles eine Frage der Zeit, weil man immer wieder neue Sachen (z.b Plugins & Ableton Features) entdeckt die einen dem Horizont erweitern können und es echt schwierig ist erstmal seinen eigenen “Style” zu finden.
