This track was supposed to be it's own single ot the record deal.But instead they put it on a compilation with other famous artists.Reason being that a very famous artist Tony Harris, aka Captain Hollywood who already had hits on the charts here in Germany needed a producer to produce his next album.The producer who produced the music for Start The Party Miles Gordon and Paolo Montagni from PForce Productions were chosen by the record company(BMG Ariola Munich) to produce Captain Hollywood's next album.Being that I already had a deal for Start The Party with BMG Ariola to come out as a single, Start The Party was put on hold until the album from Captain Hollywood was finished.My deal was first.And to make matters worse about the situation the producer took the same melodies and tempo from Start The Party and put them on the new track of Captain Hollywood's song Over And Over.Now what I want yall to do since I have your attention, I want yall to go to YouTube and put both of those songs side by side and see if you can't take the hookline from Over And Over and then sing it in Start The Party.Start The Party was first in line to be released.Talking about selling a brother out.Nevertheless Start The Party sold over 500 thousand copies in Germany,Switzerland, and Austria.And was the number one compilation at that time.The performance sells the record.I am old school and I can do it any way you want it.And I'm just warming up.I took the words out of Start The Party now and turned it into a rough and tough rap song called Pop Dat Peppa.And once I finish mastering it, I'm going to show you how to turn something that went completely bad into something all my fans will be proud of me for.Some really do it really and some do it for show.I'm old school.And that's as real as it gets.Enjoy something extraordinary.And yes I rapped the whole song in 2 takes.That's old school.
