Delivering our next MIXEDBAG from homebase! A special transmission from BAG resident @Lewba_Syd recorded live from our most recent party with Onur Özer. 

Commencing with deep minimal grooves and moving up from there, this two and half hour warm up is a welcome peak into the record bag of one of Sydney’s premier diggers.

Electronic music began to take shape for SAFI when he arrived in Paris, where we first met during an event at La Péniche Cinéma. A passionate listener and dedicated collector, his musical identity has been shaped over the years by three core influences : deep house, breaks, and dub. Early inspirations came from acid jazz and improvised jam sessions, building a foundation rooted in emotion and layered rhythms. His approach is guided by a continuous search for complexity and slower tempos.

This set explores the concept of patterns—slow, repetitive, yet constantly evolving. It offers a fluid journey that prioritizes depth and continuity over rigid genre boundaries. From warm textures to intricate percussion, each track contributes to a broader sonic narrative.

Lucid dreams and rhythm intertwine in a blend of introspection and movement. A personal and sincere musical voyage, crafted for everyday rituals as much as for deep, immersive listening.
