o	Mateus Aleluia é brasileiro natural de Cachoeira, na Bahia, compositor, cantor e instrumentista. É remanescente do grupo vocal “Os Tincoãs” onde, juntamente com Dadinho (criadores do perfil artístico ideológico dos Tincoãs), passou a exteriorizar, a partir de 1963, o sentimento ancestral que temperou o perfil cultural do Recôncavo baiano e, em particular, da cidade de Cachoeira, com o lançamento de 5 LPs e 4 compactos. A partir de 1983, passa a viver em Angola, onde desenvolveu um projeto de pesquisa cultural para a Secretaria de Estado da Cultura de Angola, retornando ao Brasil em 2006. Em 2010, lança seu primeiro disco solo, “Cinco Sentidos”, produzido pelo selo Garimpo e patrocinado pela Petrobrás. É autor, junto com Carlinhos Brown, da canção “Maimbê Dandá”.
