This is my entry for the 2020 ADAM Audio Soundtrack Composition. This contest asks to compose a short soundtrack (max. 30 seconds) for the painting “Nighthawks” (by Edward_Hopper, 1942).
The first time I saw this stunning painting I felt a lot of different emotions. In the painting, the observer is alone in a dark street illuminated by a lounge bar which hasn't got any entry door. Inside this bar there is light, people having coffee, but we aren't allowed to enter. 

In my "soundtrack" I wanted to expose my feeling of loneliness with a piano melody that starts with a diminished chord, than continues in a kind of soft caressing way, but ends with a bitter question.
Than I thought of an increased feeling of anxiety (expressed by the frenetic drums) for all the bad thoughts that a person could have in mind when he's self conscious of his needs and feels fragile, ending with the same "question" by the piano.

This is my entry for a remix contest. Is my first remix ever, maybe isn't too far from the original (wich is a really amazing song). But I'm happy with the resault, anyway. 

I don't own all the right from the song. This remix contains the original vocal part and the original guitar part. The original song is written by Francesco Fugazza and Ginevra Lubrano, and is published by Asian Fake, who kindly allows us producers to download the stems and remix the song.
