AUTO BIOGRAPHY: My name is Sergio Walgood and I’m a electronic music enthusiast. 

The love for music lives in me since a very early age, my father is a musician and over time I was instilling the interest for this art. Somewhere around the age of 10, I got my first guitar and my father began to give me some lessons. 

During my evolution as a producer, I was involved in several projects of which some tracks were edited for compilations of record labels such as Ajnavision Records, Plusquam Records, Peak Records, Psyderweb Records, Audio Aashram, Woorpz Records, Quantic Chill Records, Dark Records, Heart's Eye Records and Kagdila Records. My first album “Chill in Tribe” was released by Ajnavision in 24 July 2010 and my second “The Mind and Space” was self released via Bandcamp in 21, December, 2013.

I’ve been participating actively in several events, from big festivals to smaller events in bars. To name a few, among others are ZNA Gathering all editions, Boom Festival 2006/2008/2010, Hadra festival, Freedom festival, etc.

In parallel with this solo project, I also participate in Angular Momentum (Experimental Ambient), OCO (World Music/Fusion), Random Mode (Psychedelic Trance) and Fluorest (Psychedelic Trance).

A much welcomed reminder for us here in the North of the festival season ahed of us!  
A long building and slow burning daytime vibe set with organic, hypnotic, progressiv & psychedelic goodies!

The journey starts at 118 Bpm and ends at 128 Bpm.

So happy to share my downtempo & psychill Dj set from Algiz Glänta at Forest Star Festival 2023.  🦊🦊 🦊

I had really the best time playing there in this secret magical forest clearing, taking in the incredible sweet vibes of the tribe-friends enjoying there. Dancing, chilling, stretching, making out or just hanging out enjoying some delicious chai and delicious company. The Spirits of the Forest where mingling there with us for sure. It was truly beautiful.  🐸🦉🐛🪶🐾🍄🍀🌞🌸🔥✨

I want to say a big thank you to the Uhrla Tribe, and especially to Sara for inviting me into your festival and company to share my sound and energy with you all. I feel very grateful and honored, and I am still tingling with a sweet crush on my new Swedish tribe-friends. 💜

I also want to send a big thank you to Dj Fada and Kalya Scintilla from Merkaba Records for so generously sending me the new Kalya Scintilla album Mumijo before the release date so that I could play some of the incredible tracks in this set.  Wow! That was really an honor to receive.  🧡

In this set I play many new downtempo and psychill tracks and some of my more old time favorites like Dragon's Mist by Desert Dwellers - Kaminanda remix, Behind The Veil by Makyo, and Hollow by Oco - Balancé remix. 🔥

I also play 2 of my own psy chill tracks: Hidden Gates and Shamanic Trance State, and my remix of Eivør’s legendary song Trøllabundin. And it was the first time I played the latter in a festival, and how amazing to see, hear and feel your response. Thank you so much!   🐺 🐺 🐺

Zen Baboon are Daniel Rosado and Henrique Palhavã. Both were born in the '70s in Portugal and since an early age kept a close connection with the musical world, focusing on great sound quality and original construction.

Daniel is a sound engineer that worked in a studio in Lisbon and started producing electronic music in the late 90′s.  Henrique, a zoologist, lives and works in his own farm and started as an ambient DJ, (DJ Henriq) and producer in 2001.

They got together in 2003 and decided to melt their musical preferences and create Zen Baboon.
