Adam Beyer’s Drumcode is growing from strength to strength, year after year, with a non-stop release schedule showcasing both the labels new and most established artists with cutting edge techno beats. Drumcode’s youngest rising star, Layton Giordani, exploded on to the scene after his debut album “Where It Begins” back in February, after scoring some of the biggest festivals in Europe this summer, he now returns with an exciting collab titled “Live Again”.

NY born and bred, Danny Tenaglia has always been a true inspiration for Layton since his teenage years, so when the opportunity to collaborate with the fellow NY legend was on the cards, it was a dream come true.

Danny and Layton join forces for the lead track ‘Live Again’. Its deep and dark with a slowly building pad wrapping around a modulating synthetic hook. The dark and effected vocal echo takes the track into a hypnotic vibe.

‘Take It Back’ delivers a pumping drive the moment it fires up. Snapping percussive force and an infectious rhythmic groove will unhinge dance floors nationwide, whilst ‘Secrets of Vibration’ has a rattling, yet blistering low end presence to it.

Another month comes to an end in elrow Music and we proudly bring you yet another big-time hitter for closing October and just before Halloween festivities. We are glad to announce this ERM116 comes in the hands of a debuting duo of superstars: 20/20 Vision’s boss, Ralph Lawson, with the genius artist Rui-Z. They deliver this four-tracker that goes by the name of ‘Acid Love EP’, with two originals, one Remix by Denney and a dub version of the main title. Opening the EP, we have ‘Acid Love (Original Mix)’, an eight-minute acid-synth extravaganza that will twist bodies and brains alike, thanks to its soft percussion, acid lines and sexy vocals. The vibe continues in ‘Jack You (Original Mix)’, with the same kind of percussion, almost without melodies, the track is driven by an amazing synth line and a playful vocal progression that invites you to move the body. We then have Denney’s remix of the previous track, ‘Jack You’, a complete different take from the original, with a more tech-housy vibe and filled with those carnivalesque elements that fit so well with elrow’s Music vibe. Finally, closing the EP we have ‘Acid Love (Dub Mix)’, in which Ralph Lawson & Rui-Z rework their own track, giving it a dubbier and voiceless treatment, for those DJs who want a stripped-down track to blow up dancefloors. All in all, this is a masterpiece by own right, by the master Ralph Lawson and his battle stalwart, Rui-Z, curated with love for elrow Music. Catch us in our next dates!

Ramiro Lopez drops the electrifying follow up to his ‘Pretending’ EP from May this year. 

For almost a decade, Spain’s Ramiro Lopez has established himself as one his country’s leading proponents of techno, with strong releases across labels that include Suara, Intec, Octopus Recordings and Bedrock. He first debuted on Drumcode in 2016 with the rousing collaborative track ‘Clap Your Hands’ that ranked among one of the label’s standout tracks for the year. With one Drumcode release already under his belt in 2017 and a new label project Odd Recordings with fellow DC cohort Arjun Vagale recently launched, he’s enjoying another strong year.

His return to the label comes in the form of ‘Being Alone’, a powerful trio of cuts, all of which featured in Adam Beyer’s Awakenings Festival Day 1 performance. The title track is a multi-layered weapon, propelled by a dizzying vocal, swirling synth effects and pin-sharp percussion that build toward a smooth classy finish. ‘Dark Science’ is an effective stomper brought to life by a bell chime hookline and undulating synth melody ensuring its peak-time prowess. ‘Der Raum’ rounds out the EP, highlighted by Lopez’s deft drum work, proceeded by a driving, euphoric climax.
