First up in our new series of magic podcasts is this brand new and totally hard-rocking mix of synthed-up slammers, jackers and bangers from Denmark's finest, Flemming Dalum. 

Flemming also served up the debut release on the Magic Waves label with his 3-CD 'Boogie Down Box-Set' years ago, already the stuff of Magic folklore along with his numerous guest appearances for the radio show on IFM and remix action for the gang over the years, and so he was a natural choice to kick proceedings off with. Fasten seatbelts, activate audio-thrusters and get ready for sonic blastoff!!!

Where stars in this culture seem to rise and fall within the blink of an eye, his serene presence throughout decades offers a welcome stable factor for an ever so restless community. And still, after 29 years in the harness, his urge to dig deeper, his hunger for a night-spanning groove is not matched by peers. I’ve been a fan of his for a while, both his productions and DJ-sets are on point, hence why he’s taking over dancefloors left, right and center. To have him over at the station is always a pleasure and we were most definitely in for a treat this time. For this one he pulled out a bunch of slo-mo electronix, slowly transitioning to some pulsating darker jungle stuff and his trademark industrial, acid and tribal-like tunes. He finishes off with this insane jungle track and leaves you wondering: ‘This man really can’t be stopped, can he?’ I’ve been blasting this one every chance I got, and in a couple weeks he gets to do his thing at the Pinkman night in RTM, hope to see some of you on the dancefloor then, front left!

Quand elle est aux platines, @tovankao a énormément de choses à vous dire. Elle raconte des histoires à travers ses mixes qu’elle construit avec une forme de mélancolie festive. Habituée des clubs sombres, To Van fait ses premières armes à Paris puis à Londres où elle s’installe un an avant de revenir. 
Mais c’est notamment sur les ondes de Rinse France, qu’elle a pu dévoiler l'étendue de ces influences, allant de la techno la plus stricte à la UK bass la plus futuriste tout en faisant de brillants détours acid house. 

Elle s’est récemment illustrée auprès du collectif La Créole, une soirée qui vise à promouvoir la liberté des êtres et des corps à travers la danse.
Nouvellement manageuse de Sunareht @sunareht(Paradoxe club), cette passionnée de mode pense que la musique ne se limite pas au son mais à tout ce qui l’entoure et c’est ce qu’elle provoque inévitablement quand elle prend le contrôle du dancefloor.

I arrived in Los Angeles in 1989 where I become bi-costal traveling between Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco working in the Film and Music Industry. Dancing in the Sound Factory, End-Up, Ice Factory, Mayan, Orbit, the Cat Club and the underground of LA. I threw undergrounds in downtown Los Angeles and ran a legal warehouse for four years. This is my beginning. It will never end.
