The UK was my home for a couple of years. A place that very quickly became a playground for endless exploration, lessons, and encounters, and a perfect melting pot of nights out and music genres.

I visited London last month (after almost 5 years) and the nostalgia really hit me - messy nights, old friends, rediscovering sounds, exuberant art, loud underground rides, keeping up with the city’s pace…

This mix is inspired by the emotions you feel when you visit a place you used to call home (lots of Dub, Grime & Bass in this one).

Born and raised on the Canary Islands’ volcanic shores, Arrocha’s red hot beats bring dancefloors to the brink of eruption every time she steps in the club. Spending her musically formative years in the UK, breaks and bass are the tectonic foundations of all her sets. With stints in Berlin and most recently Rotterdam adding flavours into the mix, her tastes are a melting pot of forward-thinking sounds built direct for the dance.

With her new creative community, @tierra-sonica, on the horizon, she’s supporting the scene’s upcoming talents, bringing them into the same deserved spotlight as established artists.
