Antenna! is the brand new music project created by the Italian producer Andrea Bertolini. Andrea, who's a synth addicted and craftsman of the sound, over the last decade has shaped his own groove signature releasing hundreds of tracks for the best electronic music labels of the world; his particular attention and passion for stuff like Chicken Lips, Loose Joints and The Emperor Machine, that have been source of inspiration for him from day one, has generated the idea to create Antenna!. Juno 106, Korg MonoPoly and SCI Pro-one are his special weapons and disco, funk, house and psychedelic attitude are the special ingredients. The original track features a powerful Klassik Mix by K'Alexi Shelby, his second release on the label, a living legend of Chicago house who earned critical acclaim with The Ron Hardy Memo and is now back on the label stronger than ever. The record also includes three heavyweight remixes: Sirus Hood, a longtime friend of the label, talented artist and producer, founder of Mood Child, and deeply connected to the Chicago scene — having produced a documentary featuring interviews with some of the most iconic names in house music; The Checkup, label head of Heattraxx, delivers his deep and driving grooves as seen on labels like Kaoz Theory, Snatch! and House Puff; and Joe Smooth, another legendary Chicago pioneer, known for classic acid house sounds and immortalized by the anthem “Promised Land.” A tribute to house heritage, infused with the spirit of the Windy City in every beat.

Giovanni has been the co-founder of United Tribes(Italy) Between 1992 and 1994, United Tribes marked an evolutionary step in the European music scene and defined new aesthetics in visual communication. 
Since then Calemma has been working professionally as a visual artist, dj and promoter of events across London, Berlin and Italy.  
He is currently promoting Diskonnekt music events in London with Dj and promoter Nuno Deconto.

Oak and Hammer presents Grove Radio 05 (August 2020)

Antenna! is the brand-new music project created by the seasoned Italian DJ and producer Andrea Bertolini. His particular attention and passion for stuff like Chicken Lips, Loose Joints, and The Emperor Machine, which have been sources of inspiration for him since day one, has generated the idea to start producing under the new moniker. Juno 106, Korg MonoPoly and SCI Pro-one are his special weapons, and disco, funk, house and psychedelic attitude are the special ingredients of his solid originals and collaborations. 

The track we chose to premiere, “Laguna”, opens his forthcoming EP to be released on vinyl on the promising label Lunetta11: "A disco ballade characterized by baroque arrangements that set a real romantic mood", taken from the release description. The funky guitar riffs, the cosmic-infused synth layers and the stark bassline Andrea put together created a must-have tune for the “space music” lovers out there.

Earlier this year Andrea Bertolini debuted his Antenna! alias on Soulfuric Deep with three track EP ‘Algoritmo’. Now, one of house music’s most prolific and well-respected duos, Brian Tappert and Marc Pomeroy aka Jazz-N-Groove, remix one of the standout cuts from the EP ‘Rhombus’ for the label they set up. With Andrea using the new alias to channel inspirations such as Chicken Lips, Loose Joints and The Emperor Machine, Rhombus showed Andrea at his electronic, funk-fuelled, 80s inspired finest. Born on January the 7th 1978 in Tortona (Italy) at the age of 14 he started deejaying at school parties and then in local clubs; at that same time he started getting involved into music production. In June 2001 he released his very first record called “Bitter candy” under the nickname B’n’3. In October 2001 he began to work with “J.T. Company” (owned by Joe T. Vannelli) and became resident dj at the “Supalova Club” nights. In spring 2003 he produced “Nasty Bass”, an international hit that was included in the sixth volume of the “Subliminal session” (on the label owned by Erick Morillo) mixed by Benny Benassi. Since March 2005 he works with Stereo Seven Records as A&R. He achieved great international feedback with his production “My wav”. On 11th of August 2007 he’s one of the djs of MTV Music 4 Life Party at Street Parade 2007 (Zurigo – Swiss) with Eric Prydz, Tocadisco, X Press 2, Westbam e Kurd Maverick. In October 2007 he released his first album “My Waves”. In 2009 co-produced together with Dan Balan the tracks “Chica Bomb”. He has played in country such as : Italy, Russia, Siberia, Switzerland, Latvia, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Tunisia, Greece, Ukraina, Israel, France, Australia, Mexico, India.
In 2012 he produced “Vivace” the last album from Motel Connection.
He’s now running his new solo project called Antenna!. Started into 2020, already released on labels such ad Soulfuric and Ghetto Disco Records.
